He did OK at first. But by the time he left they were back in the relegation zone, four points off rock bottom.

Then he was pish at Ipswich, and lost the dressing room.

This would be the pattern just about any club he went to. There is an initial possibility that his abrasive style will boost them to a flying start. But after about a season, he has * off so many people that it's only going to get worse from there on in, until everyone just wants shot of him.

Gunt is indeed speaking the truth - Keane is a psycho and a *, never a good combination.

Which would have given him more money for players. His quoted reason for leaving was "lack of ambition" from the club, which means "give me more money to spend".

Either way, we don't want a manager who's going to leave after less than a year if the mere possiblity of a better offer comes along.

Would love MON back, but doubt very much that'll happen.
Lambert would be good, but he's doing to well with Norwich to leave
No thanks to Keane and MM

If lennon was to leave someone like john collins would be our boards target.

As frightening as it sounds, the only people that can save us now are the board - i.e. a real statement of intent by ponying up the cash for one of the aforementioned guys currently down south.

A mediocre manager will cost us more money in the long run.

I guess he is a possibility, it's just that I gather we approached him vigorously for the previous vacancy, and he turned us down because the player funds were insufficient. If that's true then something would really have to have changed for him to come here, because there will be less cash available now...

I would like to have him here, I think he would do a job - just don't think he would come.

I never said Neil wasn't a fiery character, but Keane is undoubtedly more so. Just look at the video "Keane ends Haland's career" on YouTube and you might get an indication of just how bad tempered he can get.

Tbh i think Keane and Lennon are one in the same. If we think Keane is the man for the job then we might as well stick with Lennon.

Besides, lets at least get till Christmas before we start thinking of getting shot of Lennon - and only then if we need to.

What I was going to say. Even if Lenny did leave Keano is hardly the type of manager I'd want us to be going for.
