It shouldn't make a difference. If anything, being a big Celtic man is more of an advantage, because they know the club and are passionate. We definitely DON'T want to be ruling people out BECAUSE they are big Celtic men.

Out of those options, it's Bilic for me. He is vastly experienced and as already mentioned, has the character and personality to get the best out of this team. As for our chances of actually getting him...

Myth. He did well at Sunderland. Took over the club at a very bad point, sitting in the relegation zone of the Championship to a top ten EPL side.

    Anyone but Keane.

Neil Lennon might not have been a proven manager, but Keane is a proven failure.

I'd lay nearly all of these options.

Lambert, Coyle or McCarthy going to walk out of their EPL jobs? For a high-pressure, must-win job with a 9-point handicap and not much money available for players? I think not.

It woould surely feel like a step backward for MON.

And as for Hughes? He's just quit * Fulham because there wasn't enough money available, so he's hardly going to jump at what's on offer here.

The only two credible options there are Bilic - because he's a mad * and it might just appeal to him - and Keane, because he needs a job.

It's far, far more likely that the manager at the end of this season will be Lenny.

A step up from Lennon but another * poor manager. Get him tae *. Bring in some proven European quality.

None of this * Roy Keane, Mark Hughes pish. It wasn't that long ago we were interviewing Guus Hiddink ffs.

Lambert wouldn't leave Norwich nor would they get rid, McCarthy I wouldn't want anyway but Coyle could be a perfect fit in terms of circumstances.

Should Lennon leave before the end of the season it could be mutually beneficial to Bolton and Coyle if he were allowed to leave, it's looking increasingly likely his face doesn't fit there.

Roy Keane has proven he is not a good manager at Sunderland and Ipswich - like Souness he does not have the temperment to man-manage todays football players.

And why are some people so keen to replace NL with someone like Mick McCarthy. He is not a bad manager but neither is he a particularly good one. He has found his level at Wolves; a team that is one of the best in the Championship but not good enough to grow and develop into a creditable Premiership force under his leadership, hence the fact the clubs fans are currently calling for him to be sacked more often than not.

I am not Neil Lennon's biggest fan but I do not see the point in replacing him unless we can guarantee somebody who will do a better job. And few, if any, of the managerial choices offered in previous posts would be good enough to do so.

But they are all big Celtic fans, so the temptation to manage the club may be too strong.

Actually, he left because he thought he was going to get the Aston Villa job.
