Mr \o/ is spot on - some people live to moan, and don't feel happy unless they are unhappy.

What I never understand is the thing with "you criticize" "you´re not a fan" "you´re a turncoat" if they win.

Of course I rejoice if we win next week and I will pump my fist in the air.

There´s a difference in being a "whatever they do am happy" fan and a fan that can differentiate between being a fan but also seeing the football and his team from a sporting p.o.v.

If we play *(which we don´t ...) I will say so, atm we play mediocre and that was the case throughout a good part of last season, too. On top am not happy with signings for recent years and players we sold(but that is another topic)

I do criticize because it bothers me and I want us to improve.

Thanks for listening and letting me clearify that!:50:

    100% serious.

I've sat near a few of them through the years, won't celebrate goals but would have a proper bein proper fury at a misplaced pass when we're 5-0 up...

I think it's a form of escapism, probably spend all week getting moaned at from the wives and at work and then a game comes and they can just let it all out. Definitely venting for me.

Some people are happy with whatever they see or get. I fully agree: you´re the happier people, but the other ones are likely to (if they have this stance on all aspects of life) improve, do better, make more and are less likely to just "take it easy" .You question yourself and keep on improving. That can also motivate in life!

That's not the type of people we are talking about.

There's a difference between being positive and accepting mediocrity.

There's also a difference between being positive and being a * moany-faced waloper (since you're - I assume - German, a moany-faced waloper is akin to eine person, die nie glücklich ist!)

Of course there is. But if you start or contribute to a topic full of generalizations and stereotypes in the first place (everybody who dares to complain is an unhappy, grumpy old * who is married to the re-incarnation of Maggie Thatcher) you cant expect others to suddenly raise the level or differentiate. It´s a football message board and I have to work beside posting on here :50:

But I really appreciate the use of the Umlaut in your Post. You usually don´t think they are known in the UK.

    Das macht mich jetzt glücklich!!

Du machst mich glücklich...jede nacht...beim Selbstbefriedigen... (Du machst mich so geil).

Er, I'm assuming you're male here from your avatar, my sincere apologies if you're female.

    Edit: whoops. :52:

    Wow, this is scary tbh.

Don´t know if I should laugh or puke...(assuming you are an unattractive male with pasty face and ginger hair)

But one thing: It is "bei der Selbstbefriedigung"
beim.....would be followed by a verb such as selbstbefriedigen, wichsen oder so. You can not mix these 2.

The bit in the bracket .....:79::frilly::93:

But thanks no, am married (to a Frau)

Thanks for the correction. I noticed that myself, that's why I changed it and put "whoops" (you'll notice my last edit was before your post), embarrassing error nonetheless.

I'm an unattractive male but no ginger hair or pasty face.

That´s fine, no worries. I mean you´re smart. You have impressive quotations in your signature that are probably scaring the * out of a lot of people on a football message board, you´re into psychoanalysis, you speak fairly acceptable German you´re open to same * etc. Looking good would be too much, I think. Too much assets for just one person.

By the way, mein freund - that post of mines was not aimed personally at you...juat in case you thought :50:

I never once said EVERYBODY who complains ir has something negative to say is as per title thread - no, this is from years of experience of listening to people in the flesh and from contributing on here from years.....there IS certain people who would APPEAR to never be happy unless they are complaining, even when something is done right, the main focal point is never about the positive, always the negative.

This has been evident with the Celtic support in recent years.

In regards to the game the other night - came away with a victory, no away goal conceded, oir new bhoy scored on his home debut, played well with a makeshift partner - who btw played well after a substantial length on the sidelines. The stadium itself had a good crowd and set us up nicely for an away fixture.

    But......

It would appear that more focus is being put upon a petty squabble, and a missed penalty. Then you have players being needlesly criticised i.e. Mulgrew who hardly put a foot wrong and played well.

Johansen's passing was utter garbage for the most part, but he played his part fantastically for his goal.

As we say in the tribe : "he who moans like a *, gets * like one".

Mate I don´t take that personally. No bother. It´s just a pleasant discussion we all have. Make no mistake, this is not a unique Celtic-ish topic. Same discussion with my home team FC Köln.

One thing to make clear. I never ever, ever boo at my team. Never. But message boards, pubs and work place etc. is the defo place to vent my anger. But: only amongst fellow friends and supporters of the club.

To the outside world, inside a ground am 100% backing my team, be it Celtic or Köln. Where shall I vent my frustration to with a pregnant wife at home if not here:smiley-laughing002::bbpd:

    Hail Hail !!

Don't play with my feelings like that, first a blunt rejection that left me in bits and now this making me feel like I have a chance again. I don't know whether I'm coming or going now. :54:

Edit: that's it. I'm going back to being Gargamel.

You´re never written off mate, never..sorry if I hurt your feelings. I mean between me and a * experience with a Scottish nerd there´s probably only 10-15 pints of lager or a wee bit of poppers? I never say never and the cool thing is "am not even gay if I just penetrate and do not get penetrated" (South American proverbial wisdom)

Nothing wrong with venting anger when it's due.....absolutely. But the likes of the fame the other night.....I just don't get it?

Haha I ynderstand your frustrations compadre - Mrs Batu too is currently at home with a mini Bogunda on the way. I have nicknamed her The Pregnasaurus.

In response, she nicknamed her * "the vault" :47:
