Reading some of the comments on here, people think if you're not 100/ behind Ronnie and the team you are totally against them. Is there no middle ground with you guys?

Am one of those *. High expectation, new players and a * poor opponent home at a 45k packed celtic park.
This plus griffith missing a squabbled over penalty and our new , not really wekconed, embraced striker ciftci missing 2-3 100% sitters. Yep thats the script to make me a moaning *. Live with it, a celtic message board does not need 100% in line people who get enthusiastic about this. Seeing izzys crosses and forrest doing * all gives me a sour taste of what to expect.

Of course i want us to do good but why not start early this season and work on the * we all know from 2 previous seasons. Its also cool to watch a good match at times. Especially after a summer break.

Have I missed something or is this thread not about people going to the game and being greeting faced *? Moaning on here is just a way of life there's no point fighting it.

    Hoaching.

Petrofac Cup cant be very exciting so the need to watch some real football is too strong to resist.

Can't really blame them I suppose.

The same people criticising and moaning will not be doing so when we pump them 3-0 next week, and eventually qualify for the groups so why don't we all just get along and sing some celtic songs eh? :50:

The same people tend to moan regardless of score and performance.

Some people don't like to actually support, they seem to watch us to vent anger.

This was the first match of the season. Is that an excuse for not being as sharp as in maybe three months?

    No.

    What gives?

    Professionalism (attitude).

And that's what's Ronny's about. I think that's why he himself was a little dissapointed with the lack of goals, cause the preporations for the season "couldn't have gone any better" and the result didn't quite match (some would say high) hopes and expecations continuing last season, and also not the way the game went. For example; a penalty is a goal. Anything else is *.

Anyways, it's nothing to moan that much about.

    Progress is still being made.

Match sharpness isn't something that you can work on and keep up yourself over the break. It's a far different thing from keeping yourself fit.

I know, it takes time with new players in and the new striker lacking his first goal (the psychology of it and so on) but I want Celtic to run on through like a juggernaut. So like the people moaning; I don't care :50:

    Ha ha, so true. :smiley-laughing002:

I'm not sure if you're serious or joking with that last bit, but I honestly think it's not far from the truth.
