    That's got to be bullshit.

Says drogba can run at 19.9 mph with and without the ball and that is a full 2 miles an hour faster than the likes of young, agobonlahor but not as fast as bentley.

    Balllllllllllls.

his all round decency and prioritising of his life is a bit like henrik - both good people and great professionals - the best WGS signing quite easily

That is sad but expected news to hear Nakamura is going back to Japan to finish his career at home. It sounds like he was close maybe to staying for another season which would have been fantastic.
In a day and age when in many sports as well as football you see so many stars acting and behaving on and off the field in a manner which is very poor Nakamura is the definition of a great role model. Reminds me of Larsson in that regard.

Shame but no where near the end of the world, if we coped after Henrik we'll cope after Naka.

Wont be deepley upset when he leaves, but fair play to him he has been a great ambassador for the club and his service has always been great, Good luck to him in the future :shamrock:

Great support network here folks. You know Leone will be gutted so instead of giving him support you decide to use the occasion to criticise Leone for being obsessed with Naka.

Anyway, I think Leone has a point. Naka is a bit of a one-off. He plays wide but does act as a play maker. He always reminded me of a lightweight version of Stiochkov. I dont think we have a player quite like him and they are rare. Out other wide men are more your flying winger types. The one guy at Celtic who I think could play 'the Naka role' may be McCourt.

Nonsense. Since when did we have a duty to indulge his fantasy ?

Great player, but we must manage without him. I remember my friend said to me after Hearts 1:1 draw (he ussualy doesn't watch Celtic games, but I think he was just curious): "*, that Naka is playing like...like...Cristiano Ronaldo!".

He will definitely be missed he is the only real playmaker in the current squad. I think you need someone like him in the squad to unlock the tight SPl defences. However we have a lot of quality wingers in the squad and I think we might just bite the bullet and give McCourt an oppurtunity to be his replacement. Pat is a typical playmaker really and the only player who could play in the same style of Naka thats already at the club. Plus guys like Mizuno will get more game time. No point in signing them if you don't give them chances. He will be a big loss but the plus side of promoting people like McCourt and Mizuno is that it means there will a lot more money avaialble to buy a top class striker.
