I'm a big Naka fan, so I'll admit that I'm biased. I'll really miss him, and I hope Mizuno can step-up and fill his shoes, but as a Celtic fan I know for a fact that we'll get on fine without him.

But yeah, as a Naka fan I'm really going to miss him and I'll probably follow him when he goes back to Japan as well. He's given us all some great memories and he's scored important goals for us. My fondest CL memory was his freekick against Man U, true artistry. His passing and touch are fantastic as well.

Admittedly part of it is that I have a long-time interest in Japanese language and culture, so when Naka came I was naturally intrigued and kept a close eye on him. He's given me a window into that culture and hopefully I'll spend my gap year in Japan, so he represents alot to me - both in and out of football.

    As you leave,
    The cricket falls silent,
    By the grass of Paradise

Thanks for the memories, and everything else

Maloney is good, but if he's left without supply-no use. McGeady is the same. And I'm putting the bias away in this matter. We have to play with a clear playmaker. Maloney can get FK-s in danger zone, but who will take them? Robson and Hartley can't hit them well. We also tend to miss penalties. The wingers will get cut off against an opposition team that can defend. Kovačević(I think from DUTD) can cut off McGeady well. There surely are players that are Maloney's bane, as well. Wingers alone can't help in SPL. And we've been playing on counters in CL, in away games. See the record.

Maloney can take them, he was taught by the master.

Yeah, he didn't score that much FK-s, don't know why is he mentioned as an option. Why do you think Naka still takes them, if Maloney was so good?

    Your * joking me?

Look up his free kicks Leone, Maloneys free kicks are immense. He did indeed learn from the master (Lubo)

We don't tend to miss penalties, a match not all that long ago I can mind us hitting 13 or so penalties in a row with out missing one?

We might have had a shaky patch with it earlier on in the year but when was the last time we missed one?

Your unreal Leone. Maloney went five games in a row scoring a free kick in his player of the year season.

    He's doesn't usually sky anything.

His hit rate is very good.

He's not as good as Naka because Naka is a phenominal freekick taker, but that doesn't mean he isn't good. Mizuno can take FKs too, he left the keeper for dead against Hamilton, pity he beat the post too.

He's lost the touch for FK-s. I believe he'd score goals, but, he can be shut down, especially if somebody gets on Crosas' back.

Leone, you are letting your obsession with Naka cloud your judgement here.

Celtic are not a one man team relying solely on Naka to perform, we will miss him but it won't be the end of the world for the club.

You point out faults with each players games and skim over Naka's fault - every player has good and bad points to their game (both as a whole and in individual matches).

Celtic can, and will, cope without Naka.

Hit the nail on the head.

No matter how good a player is you will think a player is better.

If Messi was in a Celtic shirt, you would argue your case for Naka being better.

I love Naka, I thank him for some great memories. I couldn't of been happier when he ripped the huns to shreds last year.

He's not bigger than Celtic though. We will keep going with him or without him.

We still manage to win the games he goes missing, we can win the games he's not there at all.

Thank you Naka for the memories but if you feel you should go, go. You'll be remembered fondly but not missed.

I hope you're right, and we continue, unstopped. In that case, I'm eating a humble pie. But I fear the next season will go * up because we will be missing somebody's grand skill.

It will be hard to watch us without real passing ability... I'll be biting nails even harder.
