If he is as good as everyone says, he might be like Lubo but in his prime as he is only 27

    Latest from the official site

The Chief Executive also gave supporters an update on the situation regarding Japanese international midfielder, Shunsuke Nakamuru.

“As you know we’ve registered interest,” Lawwell said. “He’s considering what we’ve got to offer and the club are also considering that. It’s a pretty complicated transaction.

“We need to understand what he wants, and he needs to understand what we want, and that will progress over the coming week, but there’s goodwill just now to conclude the matter from all three parties – Celtic, Reggina and Nakamuru – and we’ll see how it goes.”

Im beginning to get a wee bit nervvy that it isnae gonnae happen.
    Why is lawwell saying
He's prepared to go to Japan and
It won't be an imminent decision either way.
It will take a bit of time.
    There is no deadline and
I think there is goodwill on all sides.
The player is positive about the move

The boy's in Italy the noo, came back from Japan on Wednesday and is scheduled ot meet his Chairman the morra' (whis Lawwell going to Japan, if he running a * Airmiles scam).
Suspect the law man is keeping the happy fans happy, only to later say, sorry bhoys, deal fell through.
Anyways, if Atletico Madrid come in with the dough i reckon he will go there... play fitty wae Kezman, Torres and co....

Sorry to sound like a damp squib, i'll be first to hae a * if he joins!!![IMG]

If we sign him we may be able to crack the far east like man utd did with beckham, if that happened we would rake it in

Exactly. It seems to be the key issue at the moment.

even though image rights is a big issue, both celtic and nike would make big money from shirt sales in asia. if celtic are buying him for the money he could earn them id be mightily * off-but i dont think thats the case.

I think Celtic is buying Naka because he's excellent and creative midllefielder AND because the club could make a lot of money on sales in Japan and far east. This is perfectly reasonable.

even if there is a motive like that behind it we would be getting an awsome player so i would happily turn a blind eye to it
