    He also elbowed a St Johnstone player in the head. So last season he elbowed a player, kicked a player and bit a player all off the ball. He got away with the first two for some reason despite video evidence. If he got a 3 match ban for the first, 3 match ban for the 2nd then he'd probably be getting about a 15 match ban for the biting due to all the incidents all happening probably in the space of about 20 games. He also got sent off in another game last season for 2 bookings.

    20 yellow cards in 2 seasons.

    Id say he was a hothead.

    Would be gutted if this happened. He'll get my support if he signs but he's honestly the exact opposite of what I want to see in our jersey. And that's before we start talking about his ability and goalscoring which are both very debatable.

    As always, the fact that he's coming from a Scottish skews people's opinions something awful. I'm guilty of it myself. If we'd been linked with a player like him on the continent, I'd be a lot more excited, especially if I'd seen quite a bit of him, like I have Çiftçi.

    He's not slow. Not at all.

    In fact, according to FIFA 15 (the fountain of all knowledge), he'd be our third quickest player behind Forrest and Mackay-Steven. :icon_mrgreen:

    Aye.

    Ambrose, a defender has played for us for 3 seasons and has only had 12 yellow and 1 red card. Ciftci, a striker has got 20 yellow and a red in 2 season, that despite him getting away with a elbow, bite and kick.

    I think he's quite quick. I don't remember him being outpaced by any of our defenders.

    He's not lightning but christ, he isn't slow. Mulgrew, Rogic..Majstorovic as a past example, now that is slow.

    Mulgrew isn't that slow for a CB actually. Midfielder I'd say he is too sluggish though.

    This is how i used to feel about buying players from Scotland . However i now feel more confident signing a proven spl player (as long as he is fairly young ) than i would from signing an unknown from the continent . Signing a dozen flops from all around the world in the last 5 years has made me this way .

    Ciftci was a flop before he came to Utd. You have to take a gamble sometimes. If Utd have the balls to do it then we should be able to do the same. It's worked for us as many times as it hasn't
