Who knows if he'll play or not, If Ronny wants him in then I'd get him in ASAP. Even if it's just as another option.

If Griff or Scep get in an injury, then it could be a problem.

Yes he is a * but he has ability and with Ronny coaching, I think he can turn into a great player for us. Well here's hoping he can

I certainly don't think he'll 'flop' here. At worst, he'll be a run-of-the-mill, good domestic player.

 

He's a average player at best
The only reason his name has been mentioned is because the standards at celtic have dropped he will do a job but so would Aberdeen ict and hearts strikers at celtic Ronny Obviosly wants him for his link up with gms and Armstrong.squad player yes sub yes main striker no. We should've tried harder with guidetti or we should try for hooper we deserve a proven goal scorer.

 

I think he's being underrated by a lot on here. Id say he's easily the best player in the country outwith Celtic.

He is but doesnt mean he's that great who are the competition? Stephen Pearson and Niall McGinn. Im not against him signing but im not that bothered either. If we are to sign a player from Scotland the only ones id take would be him or John McGinn.

 

Adam Rooney and Niall McGinn have better records ciftci is average and a liability has a bit of flair 1.5 mil wasted

Him being the best in Scotland doesn't automatically mean he's good enough for us, I know. However, I still feel his ability is being underrated/overlooked by a fair few simply because he's at Dundee United and did * all in his career before United. The boy has a touch of class about him. His record for United lasts year is very impressive considering he would have found it very difficult to do anything in the second half of the season without the Golden Boys.

 

They two couldnt lace his boots to be fair though. Ciftci has more ability than both combined but remains to be seen if he can cut it even as a good squad player at us.

I wouldnt take Rooney and McGinn even if they were paying us.
