Mine was the 1969 cup final with my dad and my uncle Jim.
We won 4-0 at Hampden Park and there was a crowd of 133,000. I remember being disappointed that Jinky wasn't playing. Can't remember why, but I remember McNeill, Lennox and George Connelly scored in the first half and Stevie Chalmers got the winner late in the second half.

I had a pie and a bovril at half time and we walked back to Pollokshaws after the game.

    Hahahahahahaha wisnae me! :icon_mrgreen:

Aye was some 'debut' to an OF game and it was unreal, my uncle who was with me said it was so bad it nearly put him off going to OF games for life and he was at the 1980 final. Must run in the family!

the first hun game i went to might well be responsible for the way i feel towards them, was anyone else at the 1980 cup final that scared the * out of me as i was 13 and it was the first one ma maw let him take me to,
and it was the last one i was allowed to go to (knowingly), till i was about 16-17, * it shaped ma life ah think.!?!??!!, but the game was a belter ah canny remember what one at home i saw first though.
anyway mate the crowd will be up fo it and you'll never forget it. hail hail

Aye, i'll no sleep til next week. Always wanted to go to an OF game but nobody in the family supports Celtic or friends etc really so this one will be memorable.

I'm just after a cracking atmosphere!

    was in 81 i think...we lost 2-1
got punched right outside our bus then the back window got completely smashed in, covering a few guys who were playing cards in the back rows..
on the way home on the motorway, huns were throwing stuff at the bus from the flyovers...
    great fun!
