Meanwhile, Musona’s visa will be ready on Monday, July 4, after which he will travel to Germany for trials at Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.

Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic have also formally approached Chiefs with the intention of looking at the player, which paves way for an interesting race for his services.

Musona adds: “I can’t say I’m leaving for now, because I still have to travel to Germany for trials and I haven’t heard anything about Glasgow Celtic, but it is my dream to play in the top Leagues in Europe and my team, Chiefs, will let me go to fulfill my dreams …

“I was nervous when I came to Chiefs, but I adapted. If I sign for the German team I will be nervous but I will adapt. I feel I’m ready to play overseas.”

I hope we swop in and steal him. Doesnt look likely as it stands.

    Rasmussen and Murphy will leave.

Samaras will leave if we sign Bothroyd and Damari

Stokes will leave if we sign Musona and Damari

Sign him up please. Think I would prefer him to anyone we've been linked with.

I am most excited by this transfer. I hope we try to get him even if we sign Damari but I also feel we need to be giving James Keatings a few games as he is too good for the U19's side and needs to progress.

I would have rathered us not sign Damari and just sign Musona!

I agree with giving Keatings some experience. Even if we loan him out to another club for 6 months or so. Musona looks good and some of his goals in that video remind me of Larsson (gambling on getting to the ball before the keeper and the free kick.)

I'm not saying he is anywhere near that standard going by a youtube video but it can't hurt to give the lad a chance to impress.

Not sign Damari because James Keatings needs to progress?

Unless you haven't noticed those * have won the league 3 times in a row. We must win this year, and we can't take any chances.

Not signing a guy who is grabbing the attention of Hoffenheim and our scouts, or playing someone who Lennon will see daily and has obviously deemed him not good enough yet. Not * rocket science.

If you look at my post that's the guy I want us to sign?! I don't think we need 2 new strikers and I would prefer us to sign Musona than Damari is what I'm saying here as he looks more complete and another option to what we already have up top!

I am the same but it is the Sun so I'm not 100% convinced. Maybe there would be work permit problems but we will see what happens.

Wouldn't read too much into that article, there's not a single quote regarding Damari or Musona from our end. If Lennon had said anything negative about either you can bet that would be the headline. Instead they have "£7M too much for Long", Well no *, it was pretty clear we'd moved on the moment the Reading chairman declared he was after £5M.

This guy looks potentially amazing. He could be the answer to away games in Europe, looks like he'd be a good counter attacking lone striker in a 4-5-1. Wouldn't want to break up the stokes-hooper partnership in other games though, you cant buy the understanding they have. Buying this guy would pretty much render Samaras useless. haha

I think in this celtic team 4 strikers is more than enough. Considering we have Maloney, forrest and Commons who can all fill in up front if needs be. So Mosuna would be awesome but after him i think we should end any interest in other strikers cause they'd only be wasted here and we already have far too much wasted talent sitting on the bench (McCourt, Maloney, Ljungberg, Murphy + some duds)

i've a sneaking suspicion that a deal to sign Bothroyd is moving along quickly in the back ground

Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung has made clear Celtic must wait in line for their chance to take a look at striker Knowledge Musona.

Zimbabwean striker Musona is subject to interest from the Glasgow club, having scored 20 goals for his club in all competitions last season.

But Musona, who is valued by his club at around £1.4 million, has already agreed to go on trial with German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim and will travel to Europe shortly after he receives his visa on Monday.

According to reports in South Africa, Celtic have registered their interest in the 21-year-old but Motaung says his club will not allow the Scottish club to put paid to their previous agreement with Hoffenheim.

“We know there is Celtic’s deal coming into play, but firstly Musona is not on auction,” Motaung told KickOff.com. “Secondly, we are not going to play a pick and choose game or money game.

“There has been an invitation for the player from Hoffenheim and we are going to follow through that process and we will exhaust that process before we consider any other offer.

“For now we will park the proposal that has come through [from Celtic]. It is only fair for us to act ethically.

“That’s our principle as Kaizer Chiefs. Musona is not on auction and if there is excitement we will manage the excitement. We will respond accordingly to Celtic and acknowledge their interest, but Musona is not on auction.”

I don't know what to believe!

He looks a good player to be fair, let's hope we at least get a look at him.
