Benni McCarthy is rumoured to be going to Portsmouth on loan in January, so it wouldn't hurt for us to ask. He would be great.

Nicolas Bentdner - Arsenal-no chance at all wouldnt want the diddy anyway
Ricky Von Wolfswinkel - Utrecht=can c it happening think could be a good signing
Sean St Ledger - Middlesborough(preston)=can c ot happening would be happy
    Mathew Kilgalon - Sheffield United=same as st.ledger
Christopher Samba - Blackburn Rovers=would love it to happen dont c it though, imo i think he would be better than what balde was in his peak

The only way I can see Sylvinho coming is in a loan deal, yes he just joined them but he is not started and is playing very little, the same for mcarthy, bentdner is not going to happen unless he falls out of favour with wenger to an extent where he recieves almost no playing time, and even then I doubt it will happen, st ledger is on loan at middlesborough from preston, but his loan deal is supposed to expire soon and preston are having finacial trouble, wolfwinkel and kilgalon are the most realistic, Samba would be great, but I cant see rovers letting him go for anything under 7 or 8 million, and some prem clubs want him.

Bentdner would cost about 6m i think and Kilagon is an ok player but under the current circumstances are we really going to sign an exciting player? I doubt it.

Sylvinho - Manchester City- Absoloutley no point at this stage.
Benni Mcarthy - Blackburn Rovers- No chance biggest obstacel would be the fee though
Niclas Bentdner - Arsenal- no chance wenger likes him
Ricky Von Wolfswinkel - Utrecht- maybe but silly name
Sean St Ledger - Middlesborough- just joined them so no
Mathew Kilgalon - Sheffield United- no better than what is here atm
Christopher Samba - Blackburn Rovers- no chance at all

Would rather put all of my efforts into getting one top class player tbh

This is more untrue because those players have just joined teams and are unlikely to want to leave. Others are just familiar names ie. sylvinho- really what would be the point

Mowbray will get funds In January regardless of whether or not we sell anyone, Mr Lawwell knows that the Celtic support will not be denied two January's in a row. Failure to invest and back the manager will certainly lead to far more empty seats around the ground next season, I for one won't trust Lawwell unless Mowbray gets a decent amount of cash.

Remember the attendance at the Hearts game last week, Lawwell and Desmond know they've sickened the support, they won't risk losing more fans next season !!!

That list is laughable with no credibility whatsoever.

kilgalon is in my opinion the only realistic one, I dont know if ESPN was throwing names out there or what, and bentdner is 12 million not 10, wolfswinkel may come but he would want first team football right away as he is trying to impress the national team coach

I dont think there is going to be the amount of money that fans are hoping for.
Myabe one or two million at most.
And i doubt we will have the clear out we want, after all who buys crap apart from us....:56:
But there is no harm in hoping eh.

Hopefully the board will give Mogga (if he's still manager at the time) more than one or two million considering he managed to spend 3.8 million pounds on Fortune, so we could possibly get half of the player that Fortune is?
