I think he would rather come here than galatasaray … anyway tabloids saying the sell on is a rare failure ….. getting anything on a sell on is a success to me it’s unexpected income

He would score a ridiculous amount of goals for this Celtic side. We create double the amount of chances he was provided when he was here. I don't think that this is impossible in all honesty, but i think they pay monster wages in Turkey.

All the bring him home folk need to realise he already been at Celtic. He wants to test himself at higher levels .Celtic isnt the reason he no coming back it's the fact we play against utter * week in week out he wanted away in the first place .if only we played in a better league we could keep players a bit longer I'm afraid will always be the case if we are to continue in the spl

Don’t understand why Lyon don’t rate him, he’s scored loads for them and important goals too. Even this season

Don’t follow French football but the guy is class. Imagine we did get him back, what a sign of intent that would be? Kyogo and GG are very good players but Moussa would be more clinical in front of goal.

There’s no way we’d pay the wages he would want in my opinion.

For that money he’d need to be on it the entire time he’s here and not miss many games too.

I just don’t see it happening. Maybe a slim chance that we gamble on bringing him in for a year with a plan/gentleman’s agreement we would move him on after the year or so.

I'd be at least asking the question big man loves us. Its well documented he pushed the move because the Rat more than wanting to leave us. Hes been away played in France Spain and some big European games. If he wants to come back I'd jump at the chance, the chances we create now and style we play he would take us up several levels at home and in Europe with his finishing.

He's not coming back here cos him/his PR team tweets about Celtic every once in a while. Never, ever happening.

I loved Moussa here but he's the epitome of a streaky player. Will go on a 10 game run where he looks class followed by another 10 games where he couldn't hit a cows * with a banjo. That's the reason he's never gotten his "big" move imo.

Should have absolutely thrived at Madrid, especially with the way they play and he barely played.

I don’t think he’s an Ange type striker anyways. Loved the big man but no chance does he work hard enough off the ball for Ange.

If he doesn't work hard enough off the ball for Ange, he certainly doesn't work hard enough for Simeone.

Atletico was an awful fit for him.

Not everyone is Kyogo in terms of work rate. Sometimes the ball finds you.

As I remember it he had a knack of being there for important goals and also bullying defences.

Not too sure why people think he wouldn't fit into Anges system.

I'd say he'd likely be an upgrade on a guy like Giakoumakis.

Got a bit of a physical presence to him but also knows how to bang in the goals in big games.

Obviously the reality is that he ain't coming here, but I don't see any harm just chewin the fat on his abilities and what he could under a manager like Ange

Aston Villa have opened talks with Moussa Dembele's representatives ahead of a potential January move, 90minunderstands.

The Villans are keen to sign a new striker after West Ham United agreed terms to sign Danny Ings for a reported £15m, with the Hammers keen to complete the deal before this weekend's relegation six-pointer against Everton.

Ings' departure has led to interest from Aston Villa in striker Dembele - a player whose current contract at Olympique Lyonnais is due to expire during the summer.

While a deal could be done to sign the player on a pre-contract ahead of his free agency, 90min understands that Aston Villa are assessing the possibility of signing Dembele this January.

The French forward has endured a difficult season at Lyon in 2022/23, making just six Ligue 1 starts for the club and scoring a measly two goals. Prior to that, however, Dembele hit the back of the net with regularity - particularly during the 2021/22 season in which he bagged 21 goals in 30 league appearances.
