Not true.

He had plenty suitors when he joined us tbh. He was good for us and we were good for him though.

The way he left will leave a sour taste of course, but £20m for a guy we got for 500k is a decent profit.

It’s just a pity we had no time to ‘try’ to spend some of it on a replacement.

It’s a shame he forced the move in the end but at the end of the day it’s likely he was promised a big move if it came after 2 years, so he wouldn’t have come here otherwise.

Van Dijk, Wanyama and Dembele - would you rather have these guys for 2 years and then get £12m+ or not have them at all?

Nah that's bollox, he knew it was late in the window and what impact it would have and he still chose to act the * instead of professionally dealing with it, honestly * him, hope he gets exposed at Lyon and slaughtered by their fans and media and get buried into the backwaters of football, complete and utter * of the highest order.
