    Loo at it logically no one striker was top man last season each one had injury problems dembele more so injured for important games again start of this season what odds his hammy goes in first game

    I see alot of Van Dijk with Dembele. At times he didn't give his all as he thought/knew he was level above.

    Dembele will end up at a huge prem team so hopefully a big sell on clause is involved

    He was a big match player and has shown in Europe he has talent but he often phoned it in. Against smaller teams he seemed not to care. He also often missed sitters. To be honest I'm disappointed we only have 2 strikers more than him going.
    Brendan obviously felt having him around would down moral in the squad or ruin the atmosphere. Work Place atmosphere is key to anywhere

    We have just got £20 million for a striker who scored approx 16 goals last season in all comps, partly because he is injury prone, so it isn't all bad.

    I hoped we would keep him because on his day he is a top player but no player is bigger than the club and the way he has acted the last 24hr has been unprofessional.

    We must bring another striker in now as we are down to one striker if Griffiths or Edouard get injured which is likely given Griff injury record last season.
