    This is a good, overdue, display of ambition. The club failed to get CL football and could have cited that as an excuse to sell and get a big pay day.

    To keep hold of such a talent is to show how good a side we believe we can be.

    I was honestly very worried about what we would do about these kinds of bids when they came in. So relieved and looking forward to another good game tonight.

    Too right knocking back the bid , even if it was 20m we will still get that for him even when we come to sell him in January or next summer so what's the rush ? this late in the window. maybe he will even sign a new deal.

    We've rejected an offer, but he's not playing tonight? Hope that's the end of it, and it's not just rejecting it so they come back with something bigger. Skelp the huns a couple times, grab a few goals in the europa, then go in january?

    So were all waiting for a couple of transfers before deadline day. We expect nothing less than the club to invest in a few new players. Late on they throw in a scare that we are going to lose Dembele. Club keeps Dembele fans are so happy they forget about the 3 or 4 players in before deadline day and settle for a freebie.

    Nett transfer spend in the negative. Fans happy. PL does it again.

    Apparently Moussa and his agent are in to meet with Lawwell. To my knowledge, Lawwell wasn’t expecting them.

    Not to bring doom and gloom again, but I don’t see this being over yet.

    If he stays beyond this transfer window, he needs a new deal ASAP.

    I understand that he'll eventually leave, but we can't afford to get to next Summer with him entering the last year of his contract, and us finding ourselves in a similar situation to the one we've been in with Boyata.
