Love the big fella but his recurrent injuries are a concern. Can never build momentum or a decent run of form if he's out for multiple weeks a season...


Glad we've got french eddy in as we'd be * without him just now.

 

Him and Griffiths are getting beyond a joke, constantly injured for a month, back only getting up to speed then injured for a month. Both must have missed about 30 games each under Rodgers and then not been fully fit for about 20 more.

Ffs Rodgers,why when we are short up top did he feel the need to start him at home in the first round second leg when we where as good as through.

Add this to the fact we have defensive problems this is very poor from Rodgers.

 

The players are not getting enough recovery time. The season had no sooner finished then they are back in pre season, where the players have been working hard and being pushed to get that fitness up. You can see the results with the way we have started. But being pushed too early can have a negative impact on some players, their bodies can only take so much and if they have any hidden injuries they will quickly show up. Something maybe UEFA need to look at playing these qualifiers so early. I expect more injuries before the League season starts.

The way him and French Eddy have started this season I was buzzing to see them both have a full season together, then boom! He's out again. Moussa was looking abck to his best

 

At least he wont be sold , be back a couple of games into spl season.

So he’s likely to miss the Aek Athens games as well then?

 

Getting a bit ridiculous now. Can't stay fit for more than a few weeks at a time.

 

Big Eddy only started back training yesterday also as his knee swollen up after the game the other night this is every * preseason players are out with muscle injuries and for most of last season also is the high intensity training too much for some of them!!!

 

No * would want him with his recent injury record anyway yas he's here for the 10...

 

Terrible news.

 

He'll hit 30 this season again.

 

Let's hope so. He'll need to stay fit for that though.

 

Im pretty sure the swollen knee was when Eddy was scissored on the by line, the guy caught his knee and it looked a sore one

 

I think this could cause major implications for the team, I think we might get past Rosenborg but if he ain't 100% for AEK I think we're in big trouble.

And if we don't make it to CL it's gonna mean 3 things, no more spending (probably trying to get last minute loan Defenders from England), Tierney being sold (last resort I think), Moussa being sold (most likely).
