    How long we keep him depends on how ambitous the board are. We should be aiming to get 3 years from him minimum.

    Lad needs to work on becoming a fox in the box and develop an instinct for scoring when provided a chance 6 yards out (Like he did vs Rangers in LC SF) rather than just running onto chances, to become truly top notch and better than he already is.

    I reckon we could, it would be worth it in the long run. As long as we have Champ League football we should be able to afford it. Anyway once he goes hes going for 20 plus million at least that would be more than enough to recoup his high wages and plenty of money left to get his replacement in.

    Said it a while back but he is the fabled 'Champions league striker' we have all been crying for every summer transfer window for as long as I can remember now.

    Has everything required to make it at the top. 3 CL group stage goals in his debut season is immense, could very well add to that in the remaining 2 games as well.

    I keep forgetting he's only 20. He's already a really good striker but his potential is enormous.

    The way he's able to shift gears/drop his shoulder and get a shot away is class, defenders don't seem to be able to deal with it, his strength and pace are huge assets as well.

    I still think there's scope for improvement in terms of his hold up play and sometimes his movement, but that will most definitely come. Scary to think what he could be like in 3/4 years time.

    Lost count of the amount of time's this place has been looking for a big strong quick black/African player :fear:

    Always thought it myself when you see these side's from Eastern Europe with a big dominant black boy that stands out a mile..

    Saying that though with a bit of tongue and cheek, your spot on. Dembele has every attribute you want for a striker leading the line in the champion's league, and it's proving the case..
