Exactly this - when he was playing for underage ROI team in early 2000s - he was sitting in stand at Lansdowne Road knew of his Celtic links - went to say hello - he was totally unpleasant and dismissive, trying to be the wee hard man - obnoxious wee *.
Jota a different calibre of person and player!

Thought we were really good today and should have won the game with a few more. Idah again stepping up, and that is a massive plus after Kyogo leaving. Maeda as he often does showing how important he is to us also. Jota coming on and looking sharper then expected was good enough, to then top it off with a goal just made the day. A lot to be positive about, and it’s another game out the way with 3 points secured.

Didn't understand it bcoz despite coming thru our academy and being a 1st team player for 5 years, the support never loved him the way we love Jota.

Probably bcoz he was a wee * that even his teammates and manager disliked.

Played well enough but too slow going forward when we did up the pace we got some goals

 

Thought we played quite well overall and the scoreline at 2-1 especially really flattered Motherwell 3-1 was much for reflective of the game. What was most encouraging was after a tough Champions League midweek game we completely controlled and dominated the second half. Thought Jota looked quite lively particularly after he moved over to the left and Idah and Maeda were both outstanding I felt.

 

Good performance today. Passing and movement very good. Ralston, Taylor, Maeda and Idah all MOM contenders.

 

Don’t care about McGeady comments, he was asked a question and he gave and answer.

It’s either that or he lies and bullshits us all so I’ll take the honest answer instead.

 

I thought everyone went up a level with Jota on the park.
