Really glad for the goal at the end, and even moreso that it was Jota. Thought he looked sharper than I was anticipating which has pleased me no end. Mcgeady can bolt with his pish at the end, I thought it was Boyd at first * sake.

Well deserved win, some very good performances from Maeda, Taylor, Tony, Idah and thought Hatate improved in second half. Great input from Jota and Engels.

Have to say thought their goal should have been ruled out and even with VAR I thought the own goal looked onside, numerous decisions just bewilder me these days but I'll not wet the bed about it like any lurking huns might have.

Still a lot to do but another step towards the league.

 

McGeady must have felt at home at that toxic male culture in Russia What's wrong with him? Good he gets the stick here. Jota came back 10m better off but that doesn't mean you have to be an emotionless *. Fantastic to see his emotion and even more fantastic how he played today. Showed from the start that what he adds if we're playing packed defenses.

Great performance by Idah too, looks improved since Kyogo left.

Also Taylor, since the Tierney chants he plays much more positive and delievers more balls into the box.
