iwata played really well i think he got taken off because he hasnt played much although i disagreed with the sub like lots of us did because he was running the show just before he went off and maeda had 3 chances to score in quick succession

id play iwata next game yang and idah aswell, maeda hasnt been great since coming back but he could have had two goals today

ccv coming on and we were * solid again started looking like we used to look

hopefully this is the turning point, its been a dread run of poor football by us

 

That half was the best we've played in months, good to see regular chances happening for a change.

 

Said to the Mrs a minute before it get something ange like intricate here and we will get a chance. Could have scored 5 easily in 2nd half

 

Exactly !!!

Still much improvement required, but we showed fight and determination in that second half which has been absent recently, I'll take that as a start. We're gonna have to fight for this title, we did that today.

A few posters on here could do with a bit more bottle themselves by the way, that's not to deny the fact that we've been struggling lately, but folk throwing the towel in at the first sign of a challenge need to get a grip of themselves.

That second half was * great. Give us that every week and every half and I'll consider no slaggin you everyday.

 

Second half was a lot better but I'm still not convinced and feel like we are waiting to be put out of our misery. Happy to be proven wrong. Yang and Idah made a big difference and Scales showed a lot more urgency second half, whole team were a lot better but think Maeda,McGregor and Kuhn were poor throughout.

 

The 2nd half performance should now be the template for the remaining games. The increase in tempo and the quality of balls played across the goal made all the difference. Whether we can keep it up remains to be seen but surely the manager and players see what is required now.

 

Exactly Brendan. Too many people have written the story of how the seasons going to end. We'll write our own story. Get it up the media… don’t buy into the negativity. BACK THE BHOYS. We can still win this

 

Loved it too because it showed maturity and confidence, same as his penalties the other week. He took ownership of the situation and got it right. You can’t really teach that, it’s a bit of swagger.

Second half was exactly what I've been waiting for, for a long time. The most hungry I've seen us probably all season. To the point it's gave me althea slightest glamour of hope we can actually challenge for the title.

CCV coming back is huge, but Rodgers is gonna need to earn his money each and every game now. Study your opponent, pick the the right system and personnel, and most of all make sure every single player is full of confidence and aggressive to smash through any pressure and force the win.

Delighted to see an improvement in our determination, need to build on it now.

 

Thank * I watched the second half. Almost like two different teams. Hadn't been convinced by idah so far but knew it was early. Tbh I think Rogers system needs a forward like him to work. Hope the big guy keeps it up

 

Hatate to come back as well with a bit of creativity and composure in the final 3rd. We’re no out of this… the Huns have been brutal for years, we’ve went through a * period now they’re top. Still no buying into it, how much everybody wants them to win this league to create “competition”
We can absolutely bring this back but need everybody pulling in the right direction.

 

The Huns will be livid.
