Does anyone else here really hate Motherwell? I've always disliked them as a club, think it's due to them being a low calorie version of Ragers. I hope they get relegated next season.

Couldn't really analyze the game to be honest.. We just didn't function through the middle of the pitch.. Players knocking the ball four yards too far , and that was just with their first touch.. players sitting too deep isolating the strikers in the first half and motherwell pressing us non stop...
I just don't think we're a great team when we've given away a goal , especially if we're behind because we take too long to recover.. We still get plenty posession after conceding but it's like the spark goes out and sometimes it lasts for spells or virtually a whole game.. Hamilton away , Kilmarnock at home on the back of the draws with Dundee Utd and Inverness at home.. Today was probably a bit like Tynecastle.. Even though I didn't agree with posters suggesting it was game over at the 60 minute mark , I didn't really feel we had another gear to go up.. If we'd scored around 65 to 70 minutes then it would have been a great lift and I feel we'd have taken something but while we are on that subued "feeling sorry for ourselves" type of spell , or there's just a collective lack of responsability from players to grab the game by the scruff of the neck (something we might get from kayal) then we perform as we did today..

not bothered about, getting beat more bothered about the lack of attacks on goal and wasted corners, and as for ball control very very poor Lennon needs to
get the team up for it that was a classic game we will be facing with all the teams we play from now on why the * are we playing a high line against teams that there only out ball is over the top, i would"nt mind if they where in control high up the park, but they are not, we are not champion material no way. very very poor skill wise and the park was the same for motherewell we cant breakdown any defence we are only lucky at times to split it but thats part of our teams play and we lack the craft.

Ok so it was a bad result with a very poor team performance. Terrible goal to lose so early and then started the second with a total joke of penalty. However I still feel confident for Wed night and also confident that we will still win the league. In Lennon we Trust.

I see what your saying and I do agree - we missed in-form Kayal.

All I'm saying is I'm dubious that he would've changed anything, or indeed would have any different attitude to the others. We missed every single player today, and when Celtic lose it's too easy for me to point at one missing player and say he *would've* been better.

Every player we had on the pitch has been in-form, take in-form player a) out for in-form player b) and I'm guessing the result would be the same.

Team didn't turn up, blunder undermined everything, we couldn't play our favoured deck football (also favoured by Kayal incidentally) and Motherwell were simply better. We missed everyone.

Tannadice will be a struggle for them, St Johnstone will be disposed of fairly easily. Dundee United could do us a favour by beating them there. Whether they will is a different story.

At least we lost this week to Motherwell and not last week to Rangers. Silver lining.

Absolutely *. We never even got started, no positives from that game whatsoever.

Mulgrew could've been better, but Forster doesn't have a clue on how to command his area. Ki was pish aswell, and Forrest, Forrest Gump more like, caught ballwatching far too often.
    Really missed Kayal today.

    Attitude was shocking, not happy.

I agree. I said on another thread that Commons was the only player I thought turned up.

Just believe Kayal could have helped today but like you say the main point should be why did pretty much all our team not turn up today?
