Yeah I agree mulgrew isn't a natural centre back. We need someone fully experienced and not someone on a learning curve, did great job as cover recently though. His 2 errors were shocking esp after the 1st 90 secs. people are blaming Forster but mulgrew should have thumped that baw away into the stands (if in doubt kick it out). He gave well the 2nd wind they needed and took ours away. He actually motivated motherwell more than mccall did pre-match.
All in all mulgrew set the tone for this game and caused our team to question there own self belief. It turned into Celtic trying to have a battle. We should have wiped the floor with them but it wasn't to be. Kayal was missed that's for sure.
We shouldve went 1 up front also as well don't pass from the back they are a kick and hope team so we didn't need two strikers up front. And we should hav adapted the same tactics as them at start of 2nd haf at least cos that pitch isn't playable for us to pass on. Sammy upfront on his own with a 5-4-1. U have to adopt that formation against kick n hope teams.

Couldn't believe it. I thought Mulgrew would of learned from the first mistake but he never, we can't give the guy too much stick though because he has been great as a CB this season. But they mistakes do show that he is not a natural CB and still has a bit to learn. Everyone makes mistakes and he will learn from it come this Wednesday. If he makes a mistake come Wednesday then I believe that Lennon were to put Rogne back in the team. So Mulgrew knows he can't afford any slip ups come this Wednesday.

Poor show yesterday, never kicked a ball. Said it many times before, if we play to the level of ability that we can and have shown in the last couple of months then we will win.

Motherwell are a poor side and never played that well but we were nowhere near even their level yesterday.
