* pitch+thuggy motherwell players that the referee didn't no how to control, dont care if it sounds like im making excuses, that wasnt a football game out there, that is the shitest pitch celtic will ever have to play on, small blip we will be back on wednesday.

 

Exactly what i've been trying to say. We're a good enough team to thump an experienced Rangers side but we lose for the first time since 2005 at Fir Park and that's us fked. Geez a break.

Based on today, I doubt many Rangers fans will think the league is theirs now, so why should we?

Your correct Brown was not the worst on the team today I even gave him a 6 mainly for effort, but your "he has been brilliant lately" is an exagerated joke, Brown for me in the 2-2 Rangers game was MOTM, but he has been back to normal more or less since then!

 

we cant blame the park or the support, celtic were rank rotten from start to finish.The lads a was at the game with was like we will still win the league but in my point of view if were going to win the league we need to win every game and for that .2.nil lose we cant lose any other game not at this stage. i still cant belive how rotten we were.

 

Just listened to Neil and I feel the same way that he does about the defeat today. Less than happy! We have thrown the initiative back to our nearest rivals.

only at the wind up mate,he had a few sloppy touches and judgements of punts in the first half but was more a tounge n cheek comment to be fair

 

Kayal suspended coincedence we lost ?? Where now for the folk who were touting Ki - did you really think he would get involved today. Kayal is a nuisance,he never shirks away. we MISSED him big time today.

Maybe this is a kick up the * we needed today and proves we need to put a shift in rather than just turn up and expect a win. We wont need the SPL extending the season for the huns cos if we play like this more often we will hand them 3 in a row.Time for Lennon to read them the riot act to * shape up.

 

There were quite a few posts in the match thread about how crap he was.

 

He's played a dozen or so good games in all the time he's been here.

I am not having a go at the team. Yes, the team were *, but I am sure we can pick up and carry on.

Penalty was a killer..

Looked a dive from behind but the view they showed moments later showed his studs got caught in the turf and he stumbled..

nah we lost this week, been proved before many times when we have been beaten one week and the next week we are the best team in scotland,
we cant win everygame in a season,
might not be today but der huns will definitely drop points no doubt,

Quite justifiably in my opinion.

 

Off day, the team were caught cold with the early goal, we struggled to get anything going attacking wise, I wasn't impressed with a few players today who I felt they wanted to be elsewhere, the players that wanted it were clear to see for me Ledley who I thought was smashing, Brown doesn't stop but he was poor today for me his first touch is awful at times and Big Dan who I feel had a decent game.
The pitch was terrible yes so our usual passing game wasn't going to suit but this shouldn't be used as an excuse we have good enough players to be able to play against these things.
All in all we didn't play well and we need to pick it up on Wednseday night and put in a good shift.
