    Been watching Inside the SPL tonight on Setanta.

    Said there's a 9 am pitch inspection to see if the game can go ahead.
    There's no mention of this on the BBC website so thought I'd post it here for anyone planning to travel down early in the morning.

    Totally agree, I would go further and allow the points to the team they were supposed to play coupled with a fine increasing each time, unless of course it was subject to act of * weather!

    The * state of the pitch plays into Motherwell's hands I would think for this weekend too. I must admit I am very concerned about this game as Motherwell are a decent side anyway. But now with the pitch likely to be a joke that hurts our ability to play much more and reduces the more to a slug fest which we certainly don't have the advantage in.

    McManus made an interesting comment yesterday about top players raising their game when the pressure is on. I agree with him. That is the sign of a top player he produces when the pressure/game is on the line. I am just not sure we have much of that level in our team beyond Boruc and McGeady. I guess we will find out tomorrow.

    The pitch is * from ground sharing with Gretna. Hopefully fans are the priority when it comes to this. It increases the risk of injury for our lads too
