Totally agree . I put that line up to shake the tree and get our focus back on the team and the game on Saturday.

Bitton has impressed me with his passing ability in the past but not with his tackling and defensive abilities, especially his heading skills, even though he has the height. If he could come away from a decent tackle without giving away a free kick he would be of greater service to the team and needs to be nippier also - he is too languid overall. Would have been a good libero/sweeper in previous decades.

Soro for me, given his tackling problems, needs to sit further forward if he is to play at all, and use his creative abilities rather than his supposed defensive skills. He gives away too many free kicks in our defensive half. However I do like how active he is and is good on the ball and passes well.

I mention these two because I believe that Turnbull and Rogic are more effective in the team at present when they do not play together on the pitch. Rogic is better coming on in the second half with fresh legs as the opposition tires and can open up their defense with decisive passes. He also needs to shoot more.

McCarthy will eventually come good. If he could play in the EPL regularly last season then he will play also in the SPL this season.

Looking forward to a Celtic win and a good game at Motherwell.

 

Cant wait. Thank * that international pish is over. Today I feel will be a good day. Somethings just floating in the air. I also farted but thats also a smell of pure victory.

 

Buzzing for this, been a long two weeks away but hopefully came at the right time for us. Another must win game.

Pumped for this. On at 1.00am Sunday morning Oz time. I should be decently tuned up by then.
Letting the tin lids watch it with me too, I’ve made a big occasion of it. And my new lounge arrived today, what a better way to christen it!

Same am pumped though I will probably watch in bed on the tablet with headphones plugged in! I am buzzing. My wife got me some gear sent over from the celtic shop in Scotland for my birthday.

Should have stuck with Bitton beside CalMac however players doing the business against former clubs happens all the time so maybe Turnbull will turn up today

 

Rogic and Turnbull together again.......good to see we made the most of the international break. FFS.

 

Bench looks a wee bit healthier but over the course of a season squad still far too low on quality

 

Would have maybe dropped Turnbull for this but im happy enough with that, good chance for Bolingoli to impress again.
