    His job isn't about gets goals or even assists for that matter.


    I think he should have been valued around £10 million based on his ability.

    Well he cant put the ball in the net for players can he? he set up over 1 goalscoring oppertunity a game, which is probably more than any other centre-mid in the League. Its actually higher than Kagawa who is a playmaker/attacking midfielder.

    Out all the centre mids only Huddlestone, Carrick, Fellaini, Gerrard, Whelan and Toure made more assists than him. Fellaini, Gerrard and Toure often play as attacking midfielders too.

    So the assists arent everything. An example is Cabaye of Newcastle only made 2 assists yet he averaged 2 chances created per game compared to Hazard who made 11 assists yet on average created less chances than Cabaye. Bale too only made 4 assists yet created over 2 chances per game compared to Aaron Lennon who created less chances per game but got 7 assists.

    It's just funny how nobody seems to ever score from all his goalscoring opportunities,your a man of stats,compare him with someone like Commons...no comparison.He lacks that proper killer edge of a pass or shot.Don't get me wrong decent player but 6 million was great business

    Of the top of my head, believe it or not am saying Glen Loovens. Not brilliant. But the guy was fearless. never pulled out a challenge with his feet or his head. I've never know a player to be stretchered off with a head knock more than him.

    i respect that.

    I wouldn't question his bravery. My problem with Loovens was the "cheap" free kicks he gave away in dangerous positions. I think the better centre forwards he played against knew basically all they had to do was stand there he would try and win the ball and all too often give away a free kick.

    Why would I compare Ki and Commons.

    Thats like comparing Gareth Barry and Cazorla. You can compare holding midfielder to attacking midfielders.

    Ki assisted more goals than Kayal, Brown, Wanyama or Ledley do when he played for us.

    Ki made 16 assists in 85 games for us.
    Ledley has 14 assists in 127 games
    Kayal has 5 assists in 98 games.
    Wanyama has 6 assists in 91 games.
    Brown has 20 assists in his last 132 games
