My thoughts exactly. The Dons have landed a golden one there.

 

Alan Thompson, the complete hun skelper.

 

as i said not saying he was bad, i just don't think he was a superstar as people made him out to be, couldn't cross a ball, a lot of times he just hit it by a player and out the park. players got wise to his moves as well, after that he had nothing much to give....did get a turn out him tho....but IMO, over rated(to repeat, i'm not saying that as a bad thing)

 

don't think he was under-rated, was voted into the greatest ever celtic team

Tommy Johnson.........real shame about his injuries!

 

Stéphane Mahé......old Mayhem was maybe not that gifted, but he gave everything and frankly kicked everything infront of him,.....also part of teh 10 in a row busters....must be a shout for the most underated.

not seen anyone say he is a superstar, but if you think about it he was a superstar for the money we paid for him

don't think he was over rated at all how can you over rate a player we paid 35k for and the job he done for us? beats me

 

enrico annoni forgot about him aswell

 

Nial mcginn, he will have to prove himself this season.

 

i've seen people foaming at the mouth talking about him, what a player, unplayable etc, all he had was pace, i'm sure i explained that i'm not sayin he was bad, he certinaly wasn't underated anyway, everyone knew what he could and couldn't do, and he did do a job, but i've heard people preaching about him, giving too much praise, thats why i origanaly posted sayin i believe he was over rated.

I was a fan of Paul Elliott when he played, have to agree with those who mention hartley. Should never have let him go last year, would have been ideal captain.

 

i can see where your coming from but, all am saying is how can you say a player like him who cost us 35k, and lets face it mate he was a great wee player for that money and even if he cost us more i would say the same

he gave 100% in a celtic top, and played well, he was idea for the way we played at the time getting up and down the flank

Phenomenal shout. I'm to young to remember Paul Elliot playing in the hoops but every time he is on as a pundit my grandad nearly *'s. Goes on about how Bougherra couldnt lace his boot. Did say that Big Majstorovic reminds him off him. Just the imposing figuire we have been missing since big Johan
