    Varga wasnt under rated I dont think, the big man was immense. Brilliant in the air, brilliant on the deck and let nothing past him. Caldwells long passing from the back couldnt touch Big Stans he's a legend to me anyway :shamrock::celt_2:

    also think jackie mcnamara should get more credit than he's given - havent had a full-back close to his level since, scored a lot of goals as well. Extremely disappointed he was not in the team of the decade.

    I think the both of them got the credit they deserved. Not under-rated at all imo, both brilliant players under O'Neill.

    That is actually a good shout. I remember the form he was in before the injury against Milan, he was very, very good. There would have been no Andreas Hinkel at Celtic if he never got injured.

    John Collins would be one.

    Collins played for Celtic at what was not a great time for the club. If Collins had played in a successful Celtic side I think he'd be thought of in a similar way to Paul McStay. Collins was class for Celtic.

    shaun maloney, seen a lot of people on here say we should punt him as he is always injured, but i think the wee man is pure class.

    aiden mcgeady, only became underrated recently imo as everyone expected him to produce a bit of magic whenever he got the ball, if he did then nobody would rave about it because it was expected but if he didnt then we all complained, think he would run riot without the expectations, very good player imo.

    most under rated player in present team is mark wilson who if it wasnt for all his
    injuries in last couple of years would be first pick in the team and be a scottish
    international player.

    Ok we all know how good he really was, and so do the world but I would have his name up there with Pele, Maradona, Puskas, De Stefiano etc.... When you hear people talk about the best players ever you dont hear his name too often apart from, from players that played against him.
