    Anyone mentioned Alan Smith yet? What a *!

    Moves to Man U for 7m and is *. Gets shifted to try and make him a holding midfielder, aye heard it.

    I know he was injured a bit but the fact he is a hun * cancels that out i reckon.

    Hartson scored an overhead kick. He was much more agile than people gave him credit for.

    Shearer, on the other hand, was a *, a lazy despicable one at that.

    And still scored over 350 goals! Imagine how many he would notched if he actually had ability! :smiley-laughing002: And as Murph-E showed you, he scored some spectacular goals too.

    To call him a glorified Kris Boyd is an absolute nonsense. :56:Apart from one fluke against us, Boyd didn't score against any top side. Shearer was a big game player for 15 years who notched against the very best for club & country; Holland & Germany in Euro 96, Argentina in France 98, Germany again in Euro 2000 etc. 30 goals in 48 European appearances too, not bad! That's without even mentioning his ridiculous scoring exploits in the Premiership!

    Not to mention the fact he went unpunished because he apparently threatened to withdraw himself from the 1998 World Cup squad if the charges weren't dropped.

    Oh and he had the same * celebration every goal :smiley-laughing002:

    Shearer was a great striker. Unbelievable to think of the forwards England had to choose from in the 90's compared to now.

    Ledley King is up there. Good player (when he was fit) but the way the English went on about him was ridiculous.
