Nothing to serious, you get a lot of stares and not to nice things shouted at you, that sort of thing.

39 supporters died when rioting Liverpool fans charged Juventus fans before the 1985 European Cup Final at the Heysel stadium.

I bet if you went to one of the smaller towns mate you wouldnt get such a reception. I think if you wore it in a place like Burnley you would have no head left.

Do you mean a plain, old fashioned cotton one?

I've got one myself, love it. Don't see how you'd be spared hassle wearing it instead of a modern day top though, I would've thought that they'd both recognisable as Celtic tops.

Its a official Celtic top, got it from the online shop about a year ago. Aye its plain, just the hoops, no Celtic badges or letters on it.

I think with a branded one they are certain what it is, with a unbranded top it can be any shirt so they dont bother. I have never got any shouts but a certain pal from Belfast who wears branded Celtic gear gets the odd shout from cars and groups of lads when im out and about with him.

how can you be a part time fan? does that mean you only support the club when were winning? so basically a glory hunter?

No it means I only look out for Celtics results, I hardly ever attend.

If i was a glory hunter why would I support PNE? :56:

'go home' and 'IRA supporting *insert any swear word here*'

    The usual garbage.

Like I said before Minty it is nothing to over the top and it is only now and again.

Fair point, but theres no such thing as a part time supporter. You either support a club or dont.

OK pal, so by support does that mean I have put money into the club by buying merchandise etc etc? In that case I am a full on hardcore supporter. I look out for the clubs results, have attended a few games and have purchased a few Celtic bits and bobs including a lighter and a shirt from the official store... Make of that what you will. In my mind I am not a full supporter as I only ever attend once every blue moon, I am a proper supporter of PNE as I have a season ticket and go to half of our away games.

Not at all mate, being a supporter means you have feelings towards a club, you are overjoyed when they win and you are hurt when they get beat. You will watch your team play when you can even if its just on t.v ( if you cant go to the game ) or even just listeneing to it on the radio, ( albeit it your working you cant). but a part time supporter isn't a thing.

Liverpool by a mile, most deluded bunch a fans you will ever meet, pretty much everything that goes agienst them is a FA conspiricy and by right should be in the champos league by name alone
