dont like any english club what so ever. the likes of newcastle and spurs are such * small clubs that claim to be big cause they play in "the best league in the world", and it isnt. the likes of chelsea and city have ruined football. liverpool need to realise that it is not their year, and its not going to be for a very, very long time, also hate the * suarez.

I don’t hate Newcastle at all. I know some of their online fanzines have been pretty disparaging towards us, but I just can’t really muster up enough energy to dislike them for it. Would you be upset if the special needs kid in your class starting calling you a *?

I went to United in the end. I hate their fans more than the club itself. In fact, I wouldn’t even call them football supporters, more mindless herd animal.

Who gives a * about them outside of Geordieland? What have they won? I wouldn't mind if they didn't project their own inferiority complex into resentment of truly great clubs like Celtic.

The fact is, outside of Scotland and Ireland Celtic are not as grand as some of you think they are, sure the Celts have a grand support in the USA but if you ask a neutral American to name a European football side most wont know any and the others will answer with Barcelona, R.Madrid, Man United and Liverpool, outside of the Irish community no one gives one about Celtic, its fact pal.

I aint trying to down talk Celtic as they are a massive club but some of you think they are equal size to ManUre and that is embarrassingly deluded.

This. Never understood the fascination with the EPL.

highly unlikely. sky sports interviewed a few average american sports fans, think it was in NYC but its not that important, about the news that MUFC would sell shares on the stock exchange. when shown their official team photo one guy said that the name "manchester united football club" means absolutely nothing to him, another said that he thinks it is man utd but could be chelsea, he didnt have a * clue. but my personal favourite said that he recognised the team to be "the barclays, yes, they are the barclays". americans know * all about anything.

and another thing: the irish/scottish community is probably the biggest and farthest reaching community in the developed world. you could go all over europe, north america and oceania and people would recognise the celtic top.

In many asian countries like Japan, Thailand and the Philepines Celtic are absolutely massive.

Celtic are massive world wide. Also why does PNE bother TROLLING on this forum anyways?

Seriously moderators, super moderators and administrators... sort it out. We do not need this forum being turned into a trolls paradise.

Also I hate Liverpool and United both equally because of a number of reasons which i am too lazy to list. Mostly fans though.

Voted for Untied if I had to pick one out of the two.

    :56::56::56: What the *?

Manure, Arsenal and Liverpool are far more supported for a start. Then you've got all the millions of people now wearing City and Chelsea shirts. And tbf, City have always had a really good fanbase as the club of Manchester.

I would put Newcastle on a par with old clubs who still have a large fanbase, despite being *. Leeds, Derby, the Sheffield teams ect.

Newcastle get a average of 50k fans a week which is the third highest attendance in the English leagues.

"Which team's fans do you dislike most?" might also be an interesting thread, outside of the obvious. As would, "Which team's fans do you like the most?" (If they don't exist already.)

I don't see any reason to limit these discussions to the EPL or English football.

The easiest and most accurate answer is that there's good and bad in every club's supporters. It's just a matter of what the proportions are. :smiley-laughing002:

I was under the impression that you didn't actually care about Celtic. (this was based on most of your posts) obviously I was wrong.

I really like the city of Newcastle and the people there, it is a brilliant night out. As for the football team, although they are very loyally supported within Newcastle they are not a global club like we are, I don't hate them though. Don't like Pardew one bit. I don't have much time for Manchester United, so I'd choose them.

No, im sorry if I gave that impression.

I have been to parkhead a few times and got a Celtic shirt (all be it a Lisbon replica one as I cant be * with the hassle you get when wearing a 'branded' Celtic top in England).

If a PNE fan said we are as big as Everton or Aston Villa I would say the exact same thing to them as I have said here.
