The more I see of this boy the more I'm liking this.

Hopefully he's fit, if so then he replaces Paddy Roberts.

went for 1.25 then 5million at only 24 ,it seems his career was on an upward curve then got a bad injury, hes higher rated than a lot of RB's on transfermarket it's wether he can prove his fitness but potentially a ple'r.

Definitely somewhere we need to strengthen. Good as Forrest was last season, was never convinced when he was asked to play wingback last season. Lustig needs cover/a challenge.

Think lustig has looked ok at the WC.

I'm almost positive he won't cut with us. I've said it numerous times on here, the boys never a football player.

I reckon were due 1 high end loan , probably a winger given we had both roberts and musonda last season along with edouard.

    Agreed..

With Paddy and Musonda gone and Eddy signed....we'll more than likely bring in 1 with an option to buy.
Probably be a midfielder/winger but honestly wouldn't even mind if it's a good enough centre half..

not barker that would be like 3 steps down from roberts , we actually need someone better than roberts to compete for right side if thats possible either on loan or splash the cash on someone like adama.

If it costs nothing a trial will do no harm.

Looks pacey, strong and plenty potential. Just need to work the same magic we have done on Forrest, Lustig and Rogic getting them over their injury problems. Glad we’re looking at right backs.

Whenever we are linked with a player I automatically have a wee looksee over at his clubs fan boards

as previously mentioned HC fans rate him , and not in the "decent lad /all the best" way but in a "absolute joy to watch" way

Considerable anger over there about this and the Allams' (whom Im assuming are their owners) and how many believe theyve had Moses Odubajo, Abel Hernández, Seb Larsson and Max Clark all lowballed with micky mouse deals with considerable wage drops in what they seem to think will end up an asset strip

This would be a great singning IF he can pass a medical, but then again so did compper

Seen one of them claiming he was fit and ready to play near the end of last season. Might not be the rehabilitation job most fans are assuming...

I'd take him, looking at his stats the last 2 seasons he played 2014/15 and 2015/16 has good passing stats, dribbling stats, tackling stats and intercepting stats and creates a good amount of chances and thats when he was 21/22. If he is fit enough and not too big a risk with his injury and can get back close to the level he was at it seems he would be very good for us.

Sounds good. We need an attacking threat from right back, and we need one soon as both Gamboa and Lustig will need extended post world cup breaks.

If we can get him fit and raring to go, it could be the steal of the transfer window.

I absolutely love this illustration of how Celtic does their business - not a sniff of this anywhere in the gutter press until he actually shows up at the training camp. Whether he ends up signing or not, this is a great play by 'tic.
Complete opposite of how that other mob likes to promote everything in the press, including going for players they don't have the remotest chance of actually getting!
I'm sure there are others also being looked at that we have't yet heard about - maybe at the WC.

Looks like he'd be a good fit - both personality and skill, assuming his injury is behind him and replicate his performance.
Another difference for us vs the manky mob is ability to assess a medical and not take any chances if there is risk (like the boy from S Africa)

CELTIC could offer former Hull City right-back Moses Odubajo a shock chance to revive his career.

The ex-England under-20 international has spent TWO YEARS out of the game through injury.

But the 24-year-old last night jetted into Austria for talks with Brendan Rodgers and could join Celtic on a free – should all go well.

Odubajo joined Hull from Brentford for £3.5million in 2015 – and was an instant hit with his dynamic displays.

But his last competitive game was in the 2016 Championship play-off final – enduring 24 months of injury * since.

Odubajo underwent three knee operations after being crocked in a pre-season friendly against Grimsby Town.

Now fully fit, the full-back last week confirmed he was quitting the KCOM Stadium at the end of his deal on June 30.

And Rodgers has wasted little time in inviting the defender over for talks at Celtic’s pre-season camp near Linz.

The Celtic boss is in the market for a new right-back and is exploring the possibility of offering Odubajo a deal.

It’s understood he WON’T train with the Hoops in Austria – but talks are expected to continue in the coming days.

If all goes well, Odubajo could be handed the chance to resurrect his promising career in Scotland.

I've noticed that it looks like he can use both feet. That's an insane attribute to have in a full back and not one you often find.
