    Cheers

Maybe Lenny don't fancy him and doesn't want to hinder his chances of a transfer (cup-tied or injuries).

Shame that, i want him to get a chance

Personally i like him as a striker but he needs too be givin a good run in the team.

I think he could get 15-20 goals a season if fully fit. :)

Is he and any other player cup-tied then, even though they might not play, are they cup-tied cos they are in the squad ?

I think Aiden still carries injury, so he's cup-tied and doubtful for the game.

    Ah ok.

I was just thinking, being in the squad makes them cup-tied even if they dont play

When Rasmussen first signed for Celtic I was ecstatic for Morten.

By now I have started doubting if he went to the right club or should have stayed @ Brondby...

In all fairness, as mentioned other places in this forum, it is actually NOT a big step up for him competition wise (Danish league is at least at level) - perhaps on the countrary? The big change is theres 40k+ fans more than he is used to, that think they are the best football team on the planet.

If you can't pay Messi rates, you won't get flair players like him. If you still want a guy that makes goals (though not pretty) you buy guys like Rasmussen for a fraction.

At all the clubs he have been at since the age of 15, he have been hasseled for not playing like Laudrup or Messi, but he still ends up on the top of the goalscoaring charts EACH season.

Personally I think he should move on in winter if not given a fair chance, as Celtic have already cost him a shot @ the world cup.

On another note, he should be averaging 20 goals/season without running.
