Morten Rasmussen

Give the guy a run in the team, his past record shows he'll score goals. Give him the supply and he'll deliver.

 

Rasmussen and Fortune will be great this season unless we sign Kamara, then I would have Kamara and Rassmuseen up front.

 

So what exactly do you want???? Somebody to miss the goals? Last time I checked strikers are on the pitch to SCORE goals???? Goals come first.....everything else second.

 

Thats why you have Fortune beside him, he can win headers etc, not been giving much of a chance this season because of Keane, next season he will be a hit, bang in at least 20 goals.

was hopeful when he arrived, will reserve judgment for another year. would rather still have skippy than him.

x 2 that would be my first choice pairing next season and spend money on the midfield and defence and possibly signing a back up striker

 

he should have been old firm blooded by now , was well * not to see him on last week , think the guy could be a hit next year but very surprised he has not been on more times since we bought him , he is a typical poacher and we kind needed that this season !

 

He seems decent enough in the air and knows where the goal is, but he doesn't strike me as fantastic off the ball, and there has to be a reason why he's only been used off the bench (and sparingly so).

I say he could come good, but must do more.

 

I think the big guy will do well next season, Keanes presence has held him back.

 

If anyone like to know, Morten Rasmussen is on stand-by (if injuries comes up) to the World Cup, but isn't a part of the 26 players who have been nominated to the squad.

 

I think he could be the next Chris Sutton. Big, strong in the air, physical, good finisher. We need someone who can give him better service though.
Naka in the team with him would be a fantastic combination.

 

I'd like to see him as the lead striker with someone playing in behind him.

 

imo, he will never be a prolific goalscorer. He would do well to stay next season as an impact player from the bench. I would keep fortune and kamara as our main strikers though

i really hope he gets his chance pre season gets the goals and ready for next season with kamara or a new strike partner

 

he also looks like he has left the coat hanger in his shirt

 

I think he'll get a lot of goals for us, but one of those players that managers only start on the bench. Doesn't seem to have the same link up ability as Samaras or Fortune, but he does have that knack for being in the right place at the right time.

The classic poacher I suppose although in the modern game "poachers" are expected to do so much more. I think he can hold the ball up and win aerial battles and that's the extra that he brings.

The competition to play up front is going to be really good next year, Fortune/Ras/Samaras/???/Macgowan
