    Haven't seen alot of the guy play but from the clips I have seen he seems to be a CB that does suit our style constantly trying to press the forward and comfortable being left 1vs1 and when the ball is played into the channel(which happens to be alot of teams tactics domestically against us) he looks like he doesn't mind being out there, really wish he was left footed thou

    Did another video of him that includes tackling, interceptions, 1vs1's etc I think he looks alright tbh. Definitely faster than Jullien so I guess that's a bonus.

    Whilst this one is slightly underwhelming (and lazy scouting, considering we were interested last year) I could come round to it.

    For Me, CB was about getting a body in to challenge CCV/Starfelt. I wasn't expecting us to sign somebody who would replace Starfelt, so as long as they were somewhat decent and fit, I'd be happy, and this guy was supposedly good the season before.

    Loan to Buy makes it less risky as well. I'd prefer somebody else, don't get me wrong, but this signing isn't anywhere near as underwhelming as Mooy.

    Ach well. Off to jail for crimes against youtube and football I go.

    Nothing too spectacular anyway. He's winning some and losing some. A few started some counter attacks. I used the footage against the top bracket of teams in ligue 1 to see how he scales up against the competition. Imo he'll probably be fine here.

    I don't disagree that ideally as a Champions League team you'd want backups challenging at every position, but based on last season it was clear that Ange liked a really consistent and settled CB pairing above any other position apart from goalkeeper. So you either sign an upgrade on Starfelt, which realistically is gonna cost a decent amount of money (potentially disrupting a good CB pairing in the process) or you sign a younger backup like this fella and hope that Ange has spotted something he can mould into a good player.

    Last season it was Welsh in that role, so you'd like to think this guy is an immediate upgrade on that.

    The best video I've seen of him by far..

    Positionally looks good there
    Aggressive in the challenge
    Quick
    Decent in his aerial duels which I hadn't seen

    He looks like a much more mobile version of Jullien. Quite similar in his stand up challenges and his blocks..

    That's a much better video. Great example why fans need to wait and see before judging a player. Seen plenty earlier saying the guy is scared to head the ball. Plenty of defensive headers in there. Looks decent, almost like Jullien in his first season only a bit faster
