    The worry here is that other clubs start sniffing around.. i.e, Juventus.. they are talking about going for Enrique of Newcastle, but have been told they must stump up £12m to buy him. It's sad to say, but our board would let Iza go for less I reckon. £8m and they'll start talking business I think.

    Chances are a few Italian clubs would be interested. They seem to have been snooping around Sammy for the last wee while and the worry is that the likes of Iza catches their eye.

    Hope if he does go, he goes to someone better than Liverpool. Why would he go to a club thats taken 3 steps back since they won the CL ? Theyve brought in a old celebrity to paper of the cracks. If hes going to leave, hope he at least goes to the top teams in the league and not a mediocre one.

    They can put in a bid whenever they want, if it's outside of the window then deal can be done and Izaguirre would join them when it opens.



    It was all reeking of bullshit when it first came out but now it's getting more serious and I wouldn't like us to lose Izaguirre when he hasn't even played in Europe for us. I'm sure Lennon wants to keep all the players but it's the board who I have concerns about. Lawwell would be tempted, to say at least, with that kind of offer.

    Hopefully they look elsewhere for LB.
