We've went backwards from last year, which went backwards from the team the year before it, which was shocking compared to the year before that.

Ronny Deila speaking to the media in Norway: We’re very disappointed.

RD: We performed not at the level we should do. We started OK then they scored and we got stressed.

RD: We were uncomfortable on the ball and took a lot of touches.

RD: There were not enough crosses and they won the ball in good situations and counter-attacked us.

RD: Second-half we started better and got back into it but we conceded an easy goal and it was very difficult.

RD: We talked before about playing with balance and we had to get crosses but we didn’t manage to do that.

RD: Everything was too slow. I expected much better and I’m very disappointed of course.

RD on Kris Commons: We are a team. I understand that players can be disappointed but to show it in that way is now how we want.

RD: We are one team and we are not one player.

RD on group chances: It makes it much harder but we have two home games now and need to beat Molde at home.

RD: There is still a chance but we need to win against Molde and Ajax at home.

RD: Our performance has to improve from today.

Watching the Hoops this season is the least appealing it has been for years. I did back Ronny to the hilt. After Malmo I've sat in the wings and said nothing. Don't like to slate the guy as he was put into this position by the powers that be. * who wouldn't take this gig if it was handed on a plate. He has Been used to getting players through the youth system and on the cheap in Norway. So no real history in signing success. So thus I believe he does not sign our players. Also this season especially his substitutions have been bizarre at times. And even though I have no qualifications for management. As a fan I can read the game to know he leaves subs hanging for too long. It won't work here for him. When should he go? I don't know. But the longer it's left etc.. I do believe he has lost the dressing room and not just recently. I'm afraid I would be in the Commons camp on this!:38:

I remember getting abuse off someone a couple of years ago for daring to say Izzy wasnt quite at the same level as Gary Neville.....now its him getting abuse.

    * me off.If he is rotten or going through a bad spell, then he should be dropped, but personal abuse for playing badly is never going to help a player and neither is it fair.

I dont rate Ambrose myself, but he should still never receive abuse......unless perceived as not caring or trying....and even then its only opinion.

To my mind Ronny should not go, as there arent too many managers who would do better given the tools at his disposal.

I dont believe for a second the guys werent trying.......football is a strange game.If we had gone 1-0 up with our early chances things could have been so different.Things conspired against us.Last year big Craig was being touted as going back to England for silly money and everyone loved him......then tonight he tries to steal a wee bit too much protecting the big side, and leaves his near side a tad too open and bingo.....our world collapses.* happens.

Most of that team wouldnt be here unless we were playing European football so im pretty sure they are hurting too.
We are shopping in the basement bins and i dont think things would be any different if Brendan or whoever was here.

    Bullshit.

Molde is full of very average players (they had a 40 year old is central midfield ffs) but guess what? They * Fenerbache 3-1 and then just made us look like a pub team playing keepy ball.

At the end of the day the blame lies with the management and the tactics they employ. Just scratching the surface and our defensive woes - we are playing a counter attacking team, we have a wobbly two central defenders who don't have an understanding between them.

What does Ronny do? Push our two fullbacks so far up the park we may as well be playing with two at the back - not to mention our two fullback's final ball was * shocking - he didn't have the tactical awareness to realize the threat after the first 30 minutes and tell them not to push so far forward.

The players can't be absolved from all blame but the fault lies solely and squarely at the feet of the management team.

Completely agree, he looks out his depth at this level. Tactically, simple things like Izzy staying on the pitch in Amsterdam when everyone on this forum knew he was going to be sent off. When we were losing to Aberdeen with 20 minutes to go he opts not to bring on Kris Commons - no wonder he is * off. Never thought I would of been in the Ronny Out Brigade.

I think people also forget that as anyone who knows anything about gambling......beware the team with a brand new manager!!! Never bet against them!

Sutton summed it up for me tonight when he said; 'I don't understand how you can want to play possession football with two centre halves who aren't comfortable on the ball.'

Especially away from home in Europe against a dangerous counter attacking side ffs.

Only positive tonight is that if Molde were a decent team they would have taken 6 off us with the defence we have !!!

How many times does Scott brown have to come out and say we are not good enough

With Celtic and Scotland. It has been a miserable season

Our formation is *. We play 3 5 2 football with a 4 4 2 formation. Not only does that leave us short at the back, but our full backs are * at getting in crosses.

If we are going to play a flat back 4 the full backs need to be FULLY BACK. There no point picking defensive full backs and employing them in offensive roles

Ronny just hasn't got a scooby

He'll get the remainder of the group games then he'll be gone, cannae see anything happening before that, unless he resigns. Sadly he's been shown to be way out his depth when it comes to Europe and that defence he's assembled is one of the worst I can remember.

There's literally SO much wrong with the current side, from back to front, and the backroom staff.

I'll take a lot of stick for this and perhaps rightly so, but there was a Molde attack towards the end where I wanted them to score. We're going through a slow but consistent decline here, I mean painfully it's painful to watch at times. My biggest worry is that Ronny will continue to do 'just enough'....just enough to win domestically, just enough to keep the fans thinking we may finally be seeing some improvement, just enough to keep the board on his side. Honestly, we need change very soon if we want to have even an outside chance of CL football next season.

Not really surprised at the result. This has been coming, too much chopping and changing of the team without rewarding the guys who do the business when asked. Lustig and Stefan seem to walk into the team for all the important games and both have struggled. Both of these in particular look half fit and slow the game down too often. As I said it was not surprising we lost, but I am * sick of * poor performances becoming a regular occurence. * simple things like passing to our own players seems to be too difficult for us it's just not good enough and it's getting to be a chore going to the game to watch this stuff that they are serving up.

It's just inexcusable to get beat the way we did. I can understand defeat sometimes. Just the manner we do get beat is horrendous. Today we lacked everything.
