    He’s certainly got pace to burn but that’s nonsense from your mate to say that’s why he hasn’t made it at Southampton. Surely he doesn’t actually believe that?

    His technical ability is far superior to a lot of wingers in the Premier league. He’s by no means the fastest but from what I have seen of him he is certainly no slouch.

    Look at Snodgrass for example, he hasn’t got pace but he more than makes up for it with what he can do with the ball and his work rate, not how fast he can run.

    Also look at Oli Burke last season with us, frightening pace that very few players could match but zero technical ability.

    Looks like he had a horror season at Southampton, so he's probably coming here low on confidence. Apparently not the fastest for a winger either but definitely knows where the next is, skillful and strong on both feet.

    We were pish when he ripped us a new * but even then you knew he was going to be a player. Proved it as Basel and tough time at southampton but not the first player to do so.

    Some players aren’t suited to certain clubs for whatever reason whether it be style of play or whatever but I think coming here will be great for him. We dominate the ball most games and are attacking minded. The fans will love him and I just have a feeling he will produce his best here because of that.
