I am guessing here.... Cavan if you were seriously handicapped it still wouldn't give you the right to mock someone else in the same situation. You would not like people mocking you.... so you shouldnae do it to others.

There's plenty to hate Murray for. You don't even need to go there.

sorry martin ,i'm not handicapped, but i dont make fun of handicapped children, i am mocking a guy i dont like with what i thought was the flow of the thread about mo johnston,
over the years i grew up with a lot of lets say non pc loyalists and have heard unsavoury remarks about people i know and follow and love, for no other reason than its what they beleive to be fair game. and they are all followers of mr murray,i dont need lectured on what is right as i know what's right and wrong, without going into the semantics of it all i see him as fair game and have done for some time, i aint pc in the slightest nor have any time for it, and sometimes maybe a bit forthright in my opinions but i see this as a joke, thats all, nothing more nothing less and didnt mean to offend you or murdo, peace man :54:

Fair enough. I am not the most pc myself but as I say - there is plenty of stuff which we have every right to slag off Murray for doing. If we mock him for his leglessness then we are not keeping on top of the really offensive things he is associated with.

As Martin says, "fair enough" but if we make comments or jokes at the expense of the handicapped we run the risk of not being taken seriously when we have a genuine comment or grievance.

yeah..lets slag off murray for getting an mbe for outstanding business!!!:56: :56: :56:
he owned a firm in livingston in the 90s (MIMTEC) employing hundreds and he closed it ....outstanding!
he got the huns f.c. £86 million in debt..and had to transfer that debt to murray holdings after asking the scum to dig into thier pockets(they didnt)....debt is still there, just hidden away...outstanding!
He sold off rangers media rights to ntl for £15 million, celtic didnt follow suit, big mistake murray especially with the internet boom!..outstanding!
He sold off the rangers shops and the rights to thier shirts for 40 million over 15 years!!...big mistake as celtic got £25 million off nike over 5 years just to produce the shirts whilst keeping all our shops and merchandising sales(inc those sales of tops!)...outstanding
He made all the huns staff redundant due to the sale and has over 30 tibunerals to attend!....outstanding!
so.....how the * did he get that honour??? maybe donald finlay stuck a good word in for him!!!

for its a grand auld team to play for
Saturday night I watched on TV Toronto FCs first MSL game against Chivas USA, played in California, the result was 2-0 for Chivas USA.
Both teams lacked quality players, a couple here and there were no bad, but Johnston better get some players that can play better than the ones he has!
He had a young guy called Welsh out on the left, I believe he came from the Norwich team, and is an under 20 Welsh national player, well the lad didnt look too good to me? :87:
Wonder if Mo will last the season, yes I know its a bit early yet? :84:

I've forgiven him long ago. I cant sustain hate for long periods. Im just too nice :84: Im lucky too cause my memory only holds the happy stuff vividly and sort of deletes the bad stuff/makes it hazy. It was really disappointing but with hindsight I dont think he was obliged to play for anyone in particular. All footballers seem to be serious money heads now so he was just in the vanguard of greedy bassas. I just remember the good times. Great player.

He may have I didnt pay much attention to his lineup was looking to see how the individual players were, for I dont know those players.
The big 6' 6" Canadian goalie didnt impress me, nor the striker up the middle canny mind his name?
Mo didnt do too well at his last team, NY Bulls was it, he verywell may struggle with this team, although some will say well its an expansion team? :86:
