well he better cos were gonna be about 10 players short at the start of the season so far we have brought in 1 lets hope we can bring in a few decent players before july.

just read that GS made his first signing,i thunk Mo Camara is going to do us fine.he seems to have the Cellic attitude.(check official web site)Unfortunatly there's problems with Zuraw,let's hope we get him too

Mohammed Camara

Date of Birth: June 25 2006.
Place of Birth: Conakry, Guinea.
Height: 5’11’’.
Weight: 11st 9lbs (approx).
Position: Left Back, but with his exceptional pace has at times in the past been used on the left wing.
Previous Clubs: Beauvais, Troyes, Le Havre, Lille (all France), Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley (both England).

Quick Facts

* A former team mate of ex-Celt and namesake, Momo Sylla, Mo arrives in Glasgow with a fair knowledge of the club and city and also phoned his close friend and former Wolves room-mate, Rangers midfielder Alex Rae before making the move to Celtic.

* Mo has also served in the Guinean national team alongside Celtic centre half, Bobo Balde.

* Last season at Burnley the left back was a near ever present in the side, playing 53 league and cup games during the course of the season and scoring just one goal.

* That goal came in the Turf Moor club’s 3-1 giant-killing of Premiership side, Aston Villa in the League Cup.

* Mo also excelled in the January FA Cup victory over Liverpool, where Burnley won 1-0 at home against the European Champions. His former club went on to progress to the fifth round of the tournament that season, eventually going out to fierce local rivals Blackburn Rovers after a replay against the Premiership outfit.

* During the course of the busy season Mo was also handed the captain’s armband by Burnley manager, Steve Cotterill, on a number of occasions.

* Before receiving the offer to sign for Celtic he was approached by Premiership new-boys, Ipswich Town and Celtic captain, Neil Lennon’s former club Leicester City.

* Mo arrives at Celtic determined to win trophies, with his only medal to date a French Second Division winner’s medal with Le Havre.

 

Why the * did we sign a Burnley reject?

 

Anybody that doubts Mo Camara's ability should just give the player a chance and you will see that he has potential and he might be at an old age but a player as fit as he is can go alot longer than most
also i can remember that no one was exstatic when we signed a Stanislav Varga but what a signing he turned out to be don't yous think

 

Personally I think Varga is a liability, but I suppose after jackie he was our second best defender and even went on a scoring streak.

 

Bobo Balde is by far our best defender. I haven't heard anything about Bayern Munich wanting Stan Varga.

I think that has to do with Stan Varga being older

 

I think Mo Camara will be a good assett at c.p with his pace and the position he will be in on the feild aslong as G.S plays him heres hoping eh bhoys.
