The few times I have seen him and Agbaire the thing that impressed me about the two of them was how comfortable on the ball they looked.

Both pretty big guys too, especially Agbaire, it will be interesting to see how he does at Ayr.

Celtic are also pleased to announce that B Team captain, Mitchell Robertson, has also signed an extension with the club.

Joining team-mate, Kyle Ure, the defender has signed a new deal until the summer of 2027.

Robertson has been a mainstay with the Celts in recent years, first breaking into Stephen McManus’ side during the 2021/22 campaign.

Featuring as a regular in competitions including the UEFA Youth League and Premier League International Cup, he has gained a number of important experiences within the youth ranks.

The centre-back has also played his part in lifting the Scottish Youth Cup and Glasgow Cup and will now continue his journey with the Hoops for a further two years.

    Congratulations Mitchell!
