Don't bother with these friendlies down South anymore but this one would certainly entice me. Missed Chelsea which I was gutted about so would likely go to this.

I personally believe the events of the day would be largely uneventful, police presence will be high enough and I'm sure the area will be more then prepared for the flood of supporters unlike Brentford.

I seriously hope this is a joke. Millwall by definition are racist cockney * scum. I despise their horrible club and fans. It's tantamount to feeding that disease of a club and fan base by attending that game if this fixture is being lined up.
There are better options for London based clubs to play against. Leyton orient, Fulham, qpr, palace. Can't believe Holliway signed up to work with them.

    Your just a big meanie.

I still love you though even if I am one of those.

Albeit while I may support them we aren't all bad, but on the day I'm 100% supporting Celtic and would love it we smash them.

Palace would the best alternative down there by far due to their supporters.

Does Skippy still play for them?
Could be a decent day out, police would need to be on their guard though. Atmosphere would be poisonous and if those * have anything to do with it it could easily spill over.

    ^this^

I've read it somewhere on this thread that we will bring 7,000 to Millwall.

Lets get a few things correct: Millwall's will only give us around 3,000 tickets. If 4,000 of our fans are crazy/stupid enough to even attempt to get into the home ends then there won't just be a few scuffles but the serious possibility of deaths.

You don't hear anything about Millwall (bar the FA Cup game) anymore and people are naively thinking that they are no longer a threat or, as the away fans sing to them, no longer "scary" but that is because The Den is the ONLY ground in the country to have a special walk-way from the station built to segregate the away fans to allow them to get to the ground safely. Even then almost every club's fans are kept in the ground afterwards, win, lose or draw, for up to 45 minutes for their own safety. Millwall are the real deal and those on here who don't believe that could end up in serious trouble.

I pray this game doesn't go ahead.

Check at all the football ground guides... Every one of them warns, not even advises but warns, away fans to stay away from Bermondsey. We'd be warned to drink in central London and not wear colours.

When was the last time you experience a Millwall game, because first off I agree it would silly to mix fans and that I imagine is certainly not going to happen.

I honestly don;t believe it would be near as bad as you think it would be.

I went to the Millwall vs Charlton match last year as a netruel (0-0 draw) and Charlton were just doing standard banter inside the ground (for the most part) but outside Millwall "fans" attacked Charlton fans for no reason claiming "you're not so brave now". It wasn't even just a small group but, honestly, most of the stand came out and seemed to threaten any Charlton fan they saw. The few Charlton stupid enough to answer back were punched and one guy I saw was attacked by 4 Millwall fans on the way back to the station.

That was me that mentioned 7000 fans, this was the amount that went to brentford so just thumb sucking here 3000 fans and the cost of policing might not be worth it for a friendly

Why anyone would want to put themselves in a position to be in contact with such types is beyond me.

In fact, I'd go as far as saying that any Celtic fan who goes to such a game and runs into trouble deserves no sympathy.

So if someone goes to every game and decides to go to this, they are "fair game" for a slap ?

Quite a cuntish thing to come out with.
