If you think us going to The Den is on par with us going to Craven Cottage, Loftus Road, Highbury/Emirates, Brentford or even Stamford Bridge (middle-class support nowadays) then you are naive at best, deluded at worse.

The fact that anyone on this thread who lives or spends significant time in England is warning people that Millwall's reputation is well earned and deserved and only posters from Scotland and Ireland are posting anything to the contrary should have people thinking...

I doubt that very much as they were escorted out the area and back to the stations so how they were able to rob shops on uxbridge road and attack everyone seems odd,all hassle was before they were rounded up before the game..

This thread should probably be moved as it's complete hearsay right now..

Dunno about that I get the impression it's the other way round.

Like I say myself the way you are portraying Millwall fans means I should have been killed long ago as I was raised in the area and frequently wore Celtic colours

    Re-read what people have said...

Those living in Scotland and Ireland have Millwall as "*" and see us taking thousands there as we did to Brentford and acting in the same manner.

Those of us with significant experience of London, including yourself, have warned that, should the game go ahead, we'll have to act and think completely differently to any other game we have attended in England or we could find ourselves in significant trouble.

As for your experiences living in and around Bermondsey did you ever wear your Celtic shirt in or around places like The Golden Lion, Bramcote Arms or any of their other main pubs on a matchday or even to a Millwall game? Wearing a Celtic shirt around Bermondsey on non-match day when most of their fans live in Kent is one thing...

I lilke millwall myself and have also worn celtic hoodies as a kid to millwall and had no problems,I see you like to spread the love on here but your not pulling the wool over my eyes by making out there won't be a large number causing bother and looking for celtic supporters all day..
Paul1979 is right on this one,you won't be able to drink anywhere like arsenal,brentford,qpr,fulham..if you think like that, you'll have problems..
Millwall is like no other in england, chelsea aren't a patch on them..

    Again I will disagree mate.

I know I have admitted that there is still a element of the support that act the *

However I have also stated that I have every faith the match if it were to happen would be largely uneventful.

I wish I shared your confidence but fear that some of our younger (and mouthy) supporters and those who think being an "Ultra" with the Green Brigade makes them a bit edgy are at serious risk...

Yeah I must be delusional,I do not tend to class an entire clubs support as hooligans, because of a hundred odd scumbags.
Grow a pair of balls ye *,been to any games where they have fired plastic and rubber bullets, police baton charges and the army waiting outside for you to leave, give my head peace about milwall

It does make me want to speak to my mates dad though, as he was involved in a lot of the old "hooligans" stuff and knew alot of the "famous" guys within the ranks of Millwall.

Also my Mums mate son was also big on it too, used to catch him getting stuck in the fights, don't think he takes part in it anymore, however I think one of his brothers do so might have to talk to him too.

Oh and Bramcote arms was the Pub I frequented most always had good banter there, despite it's rep.

Anybody read James Bannon's running with the firm ? A bit different to the usual Hooliporn as it was written by an undercover cop. If you think people are being naive on here you should read about their first attempt to ingratiate themselves with the Bushwackers.

One of them was actually a Millwall fan the other was completely clueless on football and was sussed in about 2 mins.

They were discussing in a pub what Millwall needed to add to the team. "We need a young hungry black forward like Ian Wright as opposed to that lazy white * Fashunu" When the other copper jumped straight in and agreed with this BANG!

One of my best friends had a significant role in the ID film that that copper's attempted infringement of the Bushwackers film is based upon... That's where they got the scene about them saying about Shadwell's black player.

The problem with Millwall is, as my friends who support them will attest, is that they don't have a firm, they are one. Not every single one of their fans will go to games looking for trouble but the over-whelming vast majority of them are more than willing to defend their club and area if required to.

I get the impression you seem to be getting a kick at the prospect of celtic fans potentially running in to problems, should this game go ahead!

Not at all, I'm on record saying that I pray that the game doesn't go ahead as I don't want to see some of our more naive fans being seriously hurt. If I wanted people to be hurt I wouldn't be passionately offering the advise I am.

My dig at "Celtic"Kurd is that he probably has seen Celtic play at Celtic Park less than I've seen us play abroad and yet he's encouraging those of us who will be going to Millwall, if the game goes ahead, to be unworried about the trip...

I know having an International "fan base" comes with a big, successful club but I wish sometimes those who live abroad and have been to few games, if any, would shut the * up. This is one of those threads that they probably should not comment on.
