Just had a feeling when he made his debut he'd have that bit about him. He's a very important part of the squad now.

Hopefully the FAI are in his ear about declaring for us.

Exactly the type of player we could use a wildcard in the playoffs!:4province

Has he ever indicated he’d choose Ireland?

Not explicitly but his ringtone is set as 'Come out ye Black & Tans - Dance remix', so read from that what you will...

    Absolute baller.

What I said for Christie in his thread applies for Mikey, this boy could end up doing worldly things in the game.

Not that I have ever seen unfortunately and the FAI have formally made contact about playing for Ireland so I would be very surprised to see it happen now at this point. But technically he is still eligible.

I was unconvinced about this boy after twice getting played at Ibrox last season and getting totally bullied out the game both times. I thought he'd struggle to shake that off.

But he did and he has. Still needs to bulk up a bit. But Forrest was exactly the same at that age and now look at him. Forrest was remarkably similar in many ways to Mikey at that age. I remember when Forrest broke into the team at a very young age and changed games just like Mikey's doing now

MJ: "It’s been great and I’ve enjoyed every minute of being back."

MJ: "Being injured was tough. It’s part of football and something everyone has to go through at one point. You have to keep your head down, keep your mentality strong and come back."

MJ: "I’m just trying to work hard and get my fitness up. Any minute I get is a bonus."

MJ: "It’s always going to be a bit more seamless to come back if the team’s playing well and as a forward to try and get goals.

MJ: "I know what my role is as a player. I need to contribute in goals and assists and do my defensive duties to help the team as well.

MJ: "We’ve got loads of good wingers at the club that I can learn from with experience in the game. If I can take little bit of their game and add it in to mine, then great

Started back brilliantly, has to as Mo is ahead of him for me, but if he's out any longer then MJ will merit his place in time.

Recon he would’ve made the Scotland squad if it wasn’t for his injury. Keeps injury free and keeps doing what he’s doing on the pitch he’ll be called up for the Israel game.
