He is probably a better option than Yang, Kuhn, Forrest and Abada just now. That is frightening.

You can only hope it makes Championship clubs interested in him permanently.

He's never making it here after being given more chances than all our youth products combined.

Personally I'm happy to see him go out and do well at West Brom. Admittedly he hasn't developed to the standard we had hoped for and that we require from our wingers (although I'd genuinely debate that this season) but some of the abuse he has had during his time at the club has been bogging. The fact we were turning to him throughout November/December says a lot more about the club than it does about him.

Hopefully he keeps up the decent form, at a decent level aswell, and somebody takes a liking to him come the summer - Win-win for all parties.

Just proof that the English Championship is an absolute tin pot league.

Even when he does well out on loan people pile in to tell you they remember how * he actually is. I swear we've had players go on strike to leave the club that have gotten less hate than Mikey. All the best to him, with the injuries he's gone through he deserves to be able to make some sort of career for himself, he's clearly talented.

Look at time and space he had on the ball for the goal. You would never get that at Celtic. Again he's not a terrible player just not good enough or even the right fit for us.

He's not good enough for this, but I'm happy to see him doing well, hopefully he continues to smash it.

Had so much promise. Injuries curtailed the potential he had as a teenager breaking through..

No good enough for us now but to be fair is probably better than some of our options currently and can at least go by a man..

Happy for him. Gets a rough time. Hope he can forge a career elsewhere as staying here is doing him no good.

I'd rather him off the bench than Yang and at this early juncture, Kuhn doesn't exactly look like a world beater.

I hope he does well too. Can clearly see he was desperate to make it work here, which I think hindered him as he ended up trying to impress too much at times I think. He isn’t good enough in fairness, but is still a better option than a number of our current wingers. That tells its own story.

Not to take anything away from the guy but look at that defending, miles of space, just waltzes right into the box. The gap between the top and bottom of the Championship might honestly be bigger than the SPFL.

People criticizing the standard of the Championship is crazy. It is far better than the the SPFL in both quality and how competitive it is. If MJ is doing better down there it is more likely do to with being under less pressure, not having the fans on his back expecting him to fail from minute one and the extra space afforded by playing against teams who don't just simply want to park the bus and have eleven men in and around their own box for 90mins.
