Let him go on loan there and get someone better in like Gudmundsson.

Hopefully would get a lot of game time there and we can see if he improves at all with a run of games. Has been nowhere near it for a long time now. A move here will make or break it for him here. Last chance saloon.

 

Out on loan with a recall clause sounds sensible to me for both parties.

 

I love him as a player, always exciting to watch but feel a loan is exactly what he needs!

Aside from the 3 games coming up, we have Jota, Maeda, Forrest, Abada on the wings and we could see Karamoko play there with Kyogo and Hatate if we get desperate for a winger.

I’d let him go to Aberdeen on loan as I think it will benefit us so much more long term.

 

Ideally the loan would be the best move as he needs a good run of games if he is to get himself back up to his best form. But it would be a gamble for us in the short term. No clear cut right or wrong answer on this one.

 

Would see if they would take 2million plus mikey johnston for lewis ferguson , dont think johnston will make it here , too injury prone and too many games hes anonymous. Ferguson i still think has another couple of levels in him

I would jump at this offer and get our finger out and get another winger in. Johnston has shown from his involvement he is not capable of producing consistently enough for us and looks like he needs games that he won’t get here.

Playing up at Aberdeen they won’t come up against teams parking the bus every week. If he hits form we get a more ready player back next year and someone who could do some damage against them for a team that’s given them two tough games so far.

 

Aberdeen are not targeting a loan move for Celtic star Mikey Johnston.

Reports elsewhere claimed the Dons were interested in bringing the 22-year-old to Pittodrie for the rest of the campaign.

The winger has had issues with injuries this season but has still made 18 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops.

However, Aberdeen will not be making any moves for Johnston and he will continue to play a part in Celtic's pursuit of the title.

I said at the beginning of the season that this was a make or break season for him.

So far it looks like he's done nothing to suggest staying longer than May.

He's only saving grace is that he would help out meeting homegrown quotas for European squads. Apart from that, he offers very little on the pitch.
