Aye that's what I thought mate..

Was a good finish as well by Mikey, on his weaker foot as well..

    Literally can't catch a break :giggle1:

Aye and the finish for his offside goal was much harder but he didn’t have time to think about it so he just took it without hesitating.

Jota being out for a bit should hopefully give him a run to get back into it and stop him overthinking the simple stuff.

Gave the ball away too easily a couple of times and * that 3v1 up a belter. But he was also pivotal in our fightback to win the game.

Unlucky with the offside for his goal as well. Hopefully he takes confidence from that and builds on it. At least he seems to be fully fit again.

I think the talent is there he just needs game time to regain some confidence and sharpen his decision making. Hopefully he can turn it around because he's up against it with general opinion of him at the moment.

Juries still out but he'll get a run of games now to show what he can do. I don't see him as a first-choice player but if he can improve his decision-making and final product, who knows.

Hes actually showing great signs imo. Bet he won't make that same bad decision with the 3 on 1 next time. That type of decision comes with game experience. Hes one cracking goal away from unlocking from the pressure. Hopefully comes the first minute on Sunday.

Was the most bizarre sub appearance I’ve seen. Played a large part in both goals we conceded and completely * that chance at the end, however also played a massive part in both goals we scored when he was on.

Guy is undoubtedly a talent, just needs to get some confidence back in his game which will hopefully come soon.

Just not coming off for him atm and can tell he’s not been getting much minutes.

    It will come for him.

I get why people are giving him a hard time but along with Abada the work he done for the Henderson goal was outstanding and he made a good pass for the penalty. If he scored that fourth goal we'd all be having a different chat. He seems to lack a bit of confidence just now, when he gets that back he will be Ralston mkII

I'm glad he got the assist and had some good moments, but he's also quite lucky that * up that chance at the end didn't cost us a result along with it being a meaningless game.

And comfortable on both feet ?

This is his make or break season. He's got to force is way into the team this year. Especially in Ange's system that suits his position and his style perfectly. But then again if they'd have told us that Ralston would end up a regular then we'd never have believed it. I still mind Tony getting his * handed to him by Neymar and I wasnt sure he'd ever recover from that.

    Just needs that goal.

He’s outstanding when he’s got two men on him and going in between them. Could see the one in the second half where he cut in and blasted it that it’s getting to him. He’d usually try and place that.

Thought some of his link up play with Taylor and movement off the ball was class second half. Everything went through them and McGregor for a period after the restart.

Was far better today I thought, looked to try and make things happen. Couple of good snapshots and better decisions.

A goal will do wonders for his confidence.

I genuinely hate not liking this boy, but he just doesn't get me excited.

He does try, and he does have the ability, but he's just a wee spice boy.

He's still the same player he was when he first broke in, hasn't pushed on or went up any levels, injuries have played a big part in that which is a shame, is that worth what he's getting paid..
