Sickened he went off injured.. what a shame. We may as well assume he’s no longer a Celtic player.

Not sold on him at all. Far too injury prone and lightweight.

Great talent but pointless if he's out injured.

In the last 2 years, we've only really had the benefit of him fully fit for a 10 week window before the Jan 2020 break.

Talented boy. I'm sure he's more frustrated than anyone about the situation but we do need to get to the bottom of it. Counting him as a member of squad this season would be a huge risk.

Think we'd probably be best cutting our losses.

Apart from very rare moments doesn't do it for me. And with all the injuries he's just stagnating in development.

100% agree - sorry for the lad but, if he spends a lot of this season out injured and/or doesn't deliver on the pitch - we should release him. We can't spend the next 2 to 3 years waiting for him to "fulfil his potential"

Again highlights the need for about another 3 wingers on top of Abada.

This is what I've been saying in a number of threads, it's not just the case of bringing in immediate first team starters, our level of cover in near enough every position is horrific.

Wee man just must not be built for top level sport, either that or we’ve mismanaged his injuries. Think his window of opportunity has passed him to make it here now given he’ll have a lengthy spell out.

Made of chocolate. I'd get rid, no point clogging up the medical room.

It's a shame, like most, I like the look of him and can see the style of football he plays would be great for us if he ever got up to full speed and all that.

But the injuries are unreal at times.

It was a long one that kept him our last season I think, sort of able to excuse it, but straight back to preseason and another hamstring is it?
Barely saw what happened to him, just seemed to go off the side and that was it.

He's needing something done to sort that out, for his own career.

I'd stick with him. Forrest was almost as bad with injuries in his early days and he turned out not bad for us. I do think we really need to get him checked out by a specialist though, and have a tailor made fitness regime created for him as it is seems likely it is something about his anatomy or physiology that is causing him issues.

Get him out the door. Cannot rely on him at all. Pointless him being here.

Was this not something we eventually done with Forrest during the Deila years?
Without bashing the same drum again, but yet another thing that Lennon *, twice. His refusal to take in modern practices and take an invested approach to the players health and fitness cost Forrest game time til Deila and the likes put him through a proper regime to get him over the lingering and occurring injuries.
Not sure they are the same, but would seem Mikey struggles with something that is triggering such easy injuries as well.

If we can get it sorted, he would be a great asset to the squad, think he is a strong runner with the ball, direct, likes to cut in to support and find the shot for goal. His shot on goal is actually fairly decent as well.

I actually couldn't remember off the top of my head if it was Ronny or Rodgers, but yes, one of them, probably Ronny and then continued by Rodgers, certainly did it for Forrest and it made a huge difference to his injury problems. Hopefully Ange is on the same page with regards proper sports science and gets Mikey sorted out.
