not been playing well but is still a young player with plenty of potential

 

He is not a kid, done * all in the few chances he has got lately.
Really needs to take his opportunities, guy defiantly has talent.

 

Feels like he is really struggling to get into the team. Definitely far off the finished article but surprised he hasn't been used on the left to give us a bit more width.

 

Been hard for him to make an impact, would like to see him at the tip of the diamond even if its from the bench..

Hopefully we see a new coach and a fresh start for all.

 

Personally don't think he's suited in that no.10 position mate, best just let him try and develop in as many games at LW.

If we can't, or he doesn't, then move him on even if it's best for him.

 

Funnily enough that's were I put him in my pick for this weeks team. Don't see it happening though.

Agree that he should have a future at Celtic but current circumstances are not helping that. Hopefully that changes as must be a hard position for him to be in.

 

Lightweight, definitely got some skills but not produced when given a chance. He'll have to become consistent or hes gone in the summer.

 

Ive said it in here before, he needs to bulk up if he wants to progress in this game. He should have been working the upper body all Lockdown 1.0 and whilst he was injured, he hasnt though. Look how big KT got all of a sudden, he needs to do the same

 

Aye, with Lenny only really playing a diamond just now it's probably his best chance of some game time.

I think he's a ready made 10 tbh, can go either way dangerous shot etc..

Confident he'll thrive under a coach who knows what he's doing.

 

Good player that id like to see given a chance over Elyanoussi who has been getting game time off the bench. Elyanoussi will not be at Celtic next season Johnston will, that should be enough for him to be ahead of Elyanoussi when choosing who gets game time. Its become quite laughable how certain Celtic supporters will blame Neil Lennon for absolutely everything that has ever gone wrong in the history of mankind but he doesnt do himself any favours by holding back Johnston as he did with Welsh who should have been starting in place of Duffy earlier in the season than he did.

 

Been in and around the team for 4 seasons, 22 now, definitely got nice touches and skill but if he’s going to do anything he needs to bulk himself up a bit in the gym cause he’s been getting brushed aside like a rag doll in previous games

 

No chance. we will have enough leaving in the summer without losing a young talent like mikey.

Contributed more in 2 minute's than Mo did for 70 odd..

 

Really hope he kicks on next year. There’s a right good player there

 

Hey guys, sorry for the bump, but just got to thinking of Mikey and how nobody's mentioned him at all. Anyone know what's the state of play with him, and if he'd bulked up etc. over the break?
